N v J [2024] EWFC 184 (15 July 2024): Judgment in financial remedy proceedings, dealing with issue of whether domestic abuse constituted conduct, so as to affect the settlement. @louisetickle The judgment makes clear the parties reconciled for 3 years after the assault, the father had a period of assessed supervised contact, he was risk assessed and psychologically assessed and found - 10 years later with no further violence in between - to not be a risk to the boys.

Just looking at the incredible disjoint between proven, convicted fact and the belief a family judge clearly states about a father whose ex does not want him to have contact with the children:
