High Tight Flag Alert... $NAVN
Kristoff De Turck - ChartMill@KristoffDeTurck

Just found this via one of my Kullamägi screens in @ChartMill. Navan Inc: $NAVN IPO: October 30, 2025 3-month Relative Strength: 97.64 Sector: Consumer Discretionary Industry: Hotels, Resorts & Cruise Lines ChartMill Industry Strength Score: 70/100 ChartMill Industry Growth Score: 61/100 It is showing a constructive high-tight consolidation after a strong momentum move. The recent consolidation is tight, respecting the EMA9. Price is forming a small pennant / volatility contraction pattern just below the recent high. The candles are relatively narrow, and the stock is holding near the top of the prior advance. @chartsjavi @ransomevm @ThiccTeddy

Rising energy costs are already casting a shadow over consumer discretionary. LEVI STRAUSS & CO- CLASS A ( $LEVI | ▼1.33%), PVH CORP ( $PVH | ▼0.98%), and RALPH LAUREN CORP ( $RL | ▼1.74%) all slipped, reflecting concern that higher fuel prices will squeeze household budgets and soften retail demand in the months ahead.

Market Context - Breadth Update May 7 - BMO Wednesday’s market had two major tailwinds: geopolitical optimism and powerful earnings momentum. highlighted possible progress toward a U.S.-Iran deal, lower oil prices, strength in semiconductors after AMD’s results, and additional support from Disney and Uber. That context fits the breadth data well. This was not only a mega-cap rally, but the strongest leadership still came from growth and technology. The broadening into IWM is constructive, but it needs follow-through before it can be treated as fully established small-cap leadership. Breadth Trend Rating: Positive Latest US Market Breadth Update: chartmill.com/news/IWM/Chart…

May 6 before market open - Market Breadth stays Positive $SPY - $QQQ - $IWM Compared with the previous trading day, the main change is not the direction of the trend, but the quality of the rebound. May 4 showed weak daily participation, with only 31.3% advancers and 66.2% decliners. May 5 reversed that sharply: 69.3% of stocks advanced, while decliners fell to 28%. That is a strong short-term response and confirms that Monday’s weakness did not immediately develop into broader distribution.

6/6 The Bottom Line. 🔍 We are seeing a market that rewards the "right" stories and brutally punishes anything else. Between Apple’s supply chain anxiety, oil sitting above $100, and AI agents entering the workforce, the "easy" trade is over. 5/6 However, watch out for traditional financial data providers like FactSet, S&P Global and Morningstar ( $FDS $SPGI $MORN). Anthropic just launched 10 finance AI agents that are coming for their pricing power.

1/6 Records are being broken, but the market is playing favorites. 📈 The S&P 500 $SPY , Nasdaq $QQQ , and Dow $DIA all hit fresh all-time highs on Tuesday. But underneath the surface, it’s a tale of two markets: a chip sector that can do no wrong and a group of "solid" earners getting absolutely punished for not being perfect. 🧵
