U.S. pending home sales just hit the lowest levels ever for the month of February. NAR reported a contract signing index of 72.1. This was 28% below normal February levels, down from last year. And 13% lower than February 2009, the depths of the last financial crash. We're mired in the biggest U.S. housing demand depression in history, and it keeps getting worse. The solution? Lower prices.

The Sep 16, 2019 REPO spike was the start of a corporate loan & derivatives collapse. The REPO liquidity crisis (banking crisis) kept getting worse. Then a once in 100 year "deadly" virus magically appears on Nov 17, 2019. Just as the virus hits US soil, the Federal Reserve begins pulling $110B away from the REPO market in Jan 2020. By locking us down & closing all small businesses, they halted corporate credit demand. This slowed money circulation, allowing them to flood the banks with $6T without causing hyper-inflation.

$GEV up 8x from where GE sold it to you. has become the darling of infrastructure plays. some incredible assets. energy infrastructure backlogs and all this stuff blow out at the top, the DCF shows flawless unprecedented profit expansion, consistency and massive growth for decade+ to come. odds of that are probably zero. Rhymes a lot with the $FLWT $SGR $URS and all the E&C from 2007-2008 which got decimated at next cycle. $GEV is pricing in perfection at this point. maybe they can get it to $1000 on money flows. adding capacity yesterday i loved to see that. always at the top. narrative about fully shifted to execution in short order.

$GEV this model reminds me a lot of the 2008-2009 infrastructure bubble, backlogs blow out to the upside, the cost to get a project done spirals. the math doesnt work, demand drops, stuff gets cancelled, zero chance in hell that $GEV is gonna rake 3x current ebitda margins for a decade, theoretically possible but paying for that today is financial suicide. the asset flows into these datacenter themes just pumped $GEV to the moon. good marketing, especially to package the value destruction from toxic wind biz. certain parts of the biz are amazing and solid, but these numbers are pie in sky on the whole.

I just can't understand how your own feelings of missing lazy weekends, and disposable income (lol) is greater than the love and connection you feel with your children, seeing them become who there are and discover the world.
They are trying to break our spirits with this crap and this defeatism and goulish thinking shouldn't be humored or encouraged.
I imagine these people are big therapy-cels too but lack the self awareness to imagine their kids sitting in the same chairs talking about how their parents regret having them because they missed brunch.
