On the topic of BTS, does anyone else think that "Permission To Dance" being a bigger Billboard hit than "My Universe" just feels wrong? The latter had way more staying power overall, but I guess the former had a few more weeks in the top 10. That's the Decade-End system for you

So for my worst/best lists for the 2020s, I plan on using 200 song Year-Ends for my selections (primarily from Pulse Music). For older years, I'll just use the Year-End Hot 100. It was actually decent back then (at least the 2010s). Also, there is like no Top 200 for 2010-2013.

@sylveonkpopnyct Honestly, I think the Democrats are so stupid that they would platform Newsom as president. Obviously, the socialists are way better. But I've seen too many mainstream Dems criticize them (particularly Mamdani). And apparently, it's unreasonable to recognize that.

The Chappell Roan thing yesterday shows that as a society, we lack critical thinking and nuance. We just automatically assume the worst of people without question. My God. And for the record, the Chappell stans hating on the child are also depraved. Both sides were wrong here.

Why are we already starting 2025 revisionism? You do realize that on the left, some of those weren't even out by this time last year. Also is just the simple fact that the charts were mostly dominated by zombies from 2024, and Ordinary is one of the worst #1 hits of the decade.

@CodyMil90362722 2026 is mostly just really scatter brained than a truly relevant year for music, but it's still more interesting than last year. And let's not forget this time last year we didn't even have Golden, Manchild, or TFoO yet. Not even a fair comparison. Not in March at least.
