@BrianZisook I’ve sent 1,000s of emails in my career but you were one of the first people to let me know someone was reading them. I’m always reminded of that when reaching out to people, no matter how many times it takes.

During the blog era, artists & managers routinely reached out to platforms directly. Real relationships were built. Then streaming took over, & artists handed that job to labels & distros. For most acts, that approach doesn’t work. Happy to see more artists retake control.
