@Benjami17363643 @TJftbl @PFF Exactly, McCormick was ranked as the 10th best guard in the league on PFF’s grading system ‘79.2’ (grading McCormick from week 10 to the end of the season). So, his breakout year was last season. This list is hot trash 🗑️

@kingmarrun276 @FishKnowsBall @ethansburgh Coming from a Ravens fan🤣. Ravens fans have no room to talk. The ravens had a healthy 53 man roster in the divisional game and the Steelers won the game with skillet hands scantley, Calvin Austin and the 6 dwarfs, and life support thielen☠️. Ravens fans have no room to talk 🤣

@Lackingbutter @LockedByJPJ You’re talking as if y’all went to the playoffs last season 🤣. Ravens fans should be worrying about even in being in the conversation to qualify for a playoff spot this season

@bheadr75 @FAmmiranteTFJ Added a ton of premium talent through free agency and the draft. Along with the vast amount of project players on this roster that have taken large steps through every offseason.

@FAmmiranteTFJ I really don’t see how the Steelers will improve beyond last year. They got even older and with a HC we know isn’t cut from the right stuff in the modern NFL.

Since Aaron Rodgers left Green Bay, he's been with awful playcallers with both the Jets and Steelers. But now he's reunited with Mike McCarthy. I bet we'll see Rodgers' best season since leaving the Packers.

@DanAdam16613173 @steelcityundrgr If McCarthy comes in and changes the playbook, you’re going to see push back from Aaron Rodgers. So, I don’t see that taking place with how vocal Rodgers has been in the past with the Packers and Jets on poor offensive schemes. Steelers added a lot of talent outside of Pittman.

@ChaseCreech4 @steelcityundrgr I like the Pittman signing but I don’t like our QB situation at all. It also takes time with an entirely new coaching staff. I’ve been watching the Steelers since the 70s and I just don’t see it this season. Maybe I’m wrong. I’ll still go to games and root like crazy.

@DanAdam16613173 @steelcityundrgr I agree with you if they changed up the playbook with the new coaching staff. What Arthur Smith and Rodgers did at the end of the season was effective outside of the limitations stemming from Mike Tomlin’s philosophy (Tony Dungy) that eliminates the use of the middle of the field

@DanAdam16613173 @steelcityundrgr If you make major improvements to the team, why wouldn’t you expect different results in the playoffs? There isn’t a big bad Kansas City Chiefs team in the AFC, the stacked teams are in the NFC. So, why shouldn’t the Steelers try to compete this season?

@ChaseCreech4 @steelcityundrgr Great. 10 wins and then got blown out in the first round of the playoffs. Same as the previous two seasons. I’m not completely down on this team but I don’t see anything different that would change the trajectory of this team right now. They are what they are.

@Blue8E @OddballRaybert @NFL @Ravens @NFLFilms Ravens fans and yourself can take the moral victory against Calvin Austin and the six dwarfs, life support thielen, and skillet hands scantling. Steelers should’ve ended that game with a fat 🍩. It’s embarrassing to compliment any player based on the results of that game 🤣

@ChaseCreech4 @OddballRaybert @NFL @Ravens @NFLFilms Nope you definitely weren’t watching the game. He had multiple sacks on Rodger’s & had him in fits the entire game. The announcers could stop mentioning Roquan because of how valuable he was to our defense that game. He is just that good. better than our QB of course… lol

@Blue8E @OddballRaybert @NFL @Ravens @NFLFilms “wreaking havok” 🤣??? Dude was getting cooked in the divisional game by Calvin Austin and the six dwarfs, life support thielen, and skillet hands scantling 🤣. Never try to cook again, that game was an embarrassment put up by the Ravens.

@suttondef @colincowherd Caleb Williams is a generational talent that went far in the playoffs and showed up in the biggest moments. Justin Herbert has played well in the playoffs and has been let down by the injury bug plaguing his team

@suttondef @colincowherd Makes sense. Lamar is the last quarterback you want in a playoff game or in big moments. Joe Burrow has durability issues and has missed the playoffs season after season.

@chip403 @theblockspot The Ravens and Bengals have holes across the board on their starting 53 man roster. Neither team has depth at any position. So, it’ll come down to the superior scheme that is present in their matchups. If either team had a complete roster then it would be a whole different story

@theblockspot It’s laughable to have the Ravens over Bengals. Ravens did nothing but lose talent this off-season, while the Bengals got a WHOLE LOT better, and will contend for the Super Bowl.

@YBerra79 @JackMac Additionally, outside of their superior skills (dribbling and first touch abilities), their midfielders are tactically more intelligent on picking apart a backline and finding attacking lanes in the midfield. The American team just finally played a world class European team

@JackMac What an ass clown. Belgium played like a team that has the experience. We don't have that yet, but are getting more opportunities to learn from their mistakes. Look how Belgium came back in less than 5 mins. to score 2 goals to win the game. The USMNT didn't have that mentality.

@YBerra79 @JackMac The European teams have players that are trained from youth academy to handle tight intense pressure which helps them develop world class midfield players that control the tempo and dominate the midfield.

@YBerra79 @JackMac Has nothing to do with “experience”. Historically (for the past 100 years, European national teams (including Brazil, Argentina, Columbia, Uruguay) have had centre backs that could step up and play in the midfield

@KaterinaPa83 @RGIII Second half Poch swapped the formation to a 3-4-2-1 after subbing Dest for Reyna. The back line was still getting exposed, but the effort and physical ability of the USA team allowed them to move the ball up the pitch. USA controlled the time of the possession in the second half

@ChaseCreech4 @RGIII What is “press resistant”? “3 back line”… does this mean we keep 3 men behind center field close to our goal at all times while the other 7 advance?

I’m not gonna lie guys. I’m DEVASTATED. I’m in Hawaii right now drinking my sorrows away with a group of Australians because Belgium made us look like an AAU TEAM. We had such a massive build up to this game. WE HAD PRESIDENT TRUMP CALL FIFA. WE HAD A DANG RED CARD SUSPENDED. Then Belgium, the dang waffle makers, literally bent us over and made us like it. I know American Soccer is still pretty far behind Europe, but Belgium made it VERY OBVIOUS. We looked like we didn’t know what the hell we were doing. It was just so embarrassing. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT THIRD GOAL? 😭 We looked like a team that calls it soccer, not football. Again Congrats to Belgium, but WTF?

@KaterinaPa83 @RGIII They started the day playing a 3-5-2 (3 centrebacks-3 midfielders (2 wingbacks)- 2 forwards). Some of the weaknesses of a 3-5-2 is that the midfield can be congested like it was from the start of whistle. Our midfielders lacked the ability to play that style of football.
