🚨🇺🇸🇨🇳 Trump reveals the CEO introductions to Xi weren't even scheduled.
He improvised it on the spot:
"It wasn't scheduled.
They looked around and said, well... I said, I think we can get them in five minutes."
He walked into the most important summit of his presidency, threw out the agenda, and told China's leadership he wanted to bring in 30 American CEOs who were waiting down the hall.
The Chinese side was "surprised" because "it was very different from what the schedule had."
This is Trump at his most instinctive.
Formal diplomacy says you follow the script.
Trump says you rewrite it mid-meeting.
And Xi's response? "That was a good idea."
Whether it was genius or chaos depends on what the CEOs walked out with.

China currently gets 50-60% of its energy through the Strait of Hormuz.

When donor-advised fund sponsors preemptively decline to process contributions to civil rights organizations, the effect is no different from any other form of targeted pressure. It chills free speech and erodes our democracy.
As funders committed to democracy, justice, and the long-term health of civil society, we boldly stand with the Southern Poverty Law Center and with the broader civil rights community. We will continue to resource organizations defending rights and freedoms. What a strange thing to say. Trump is about to do a massive deal with China. They won’t want a hair on his head touched. And Trump hasn’t systematically cut China off from anything. Even Venezuelan oil is still hitting China’s markets. As is Iran’s oil.

I don't feel good about President Trump going to China tomorrow. I pray everything goes well, but I wish I trusted the Secret Service. Who has more to lose in the world right now than China? Trump has systematically blocked China everywhere. And Xi would sacrifice anything to win, even his own citizens. I trust the President. But right now, I’m worried for him.
