Lucky is home now. He was buried amongst the trees in the back where my son can visit him or see his grave from the house. I ordered the stone plaque it will be here later next week. #fuckcancer especially when it happens to a boys #ServiceDog like his life was not hard enough! I have to work on reconstructing my sons heart. He is so 💔 😢. It was his first service dog, first best friend, first death. Lucky was more than everything to him and this happened inside of a week so darn fast. The past 2 nights were wrenching, he was clearly in pain. My head and heart are spinning. Then there is the financial considerations which I try to not even think about at the moment. All I know is God broke the mold with Lucky. So so sad tonight. 🥺😭

@PhillipDenton She is so right. I am gonna marry the man that dug the grave for my sons service dog yesterday. It was among trees, roots and rocks in hot weather and he put Lucky in so lovingly with his blanket so I'd say he a keeper.
