I don't care if this is, as rumoured, for kids. I'm going to drink down every episode like it's fine spring water from the glacier of God's own mountaintop.

@DustinCanFly Is it very similar to Animal Crossing? I'm just wondering if I could enjoy Pokopia even though I'm not a fan of AC.
English

@EasyAllies That's cool! Is the Fantasy Critic thing also still happening?

@Shpeshal_Nick @Margrnwjr Yeah, but we actually trust Shinobi.

No, it's not an *Atreus* focused title...

@Agno_lotti @dogan_hany @beastieball And they already confirmed it's going to be in EA for at least another year.
English

@CheckTheTape @dogan_hany @beastieball But... the game came out in Early Access in November of 2024? Huh?
English

@dogan_hany @beastieball I was about to write the same thing. I love, love, loooove Chicory and the next game from its creator should be a huge deal for me, but I can't even pretend to care about a game that's in Early Access for aeons. 🫤

@davidscottjaffe @bluepointgames @XboxP3 Didn't you just say a few days ago that you've heard that Bluepoint is making the God of War Trilogy Remake?
English

RING! RING!
@bluepointgames Uhh...yeah? Hello?
@XboxP3 Hey man, it's Phil. Phil Spencer. Form a new team and we'll fund a game for y'all. Original or a remake of one of our IPs.
tldr: This isn't hard. Do NOT let this amazing team splinter.

@Cultaholic @Sacrifice_PW The lack of Sharkberg chants is disturbing.

@TriovoYT @PaulTassi to be fair, you can safely skip the whole series and miss nothing important

@SlanderedOne No. It was horrid and has no future whatsoever.

Much respect to everyone involved with putting this together. After some adjustments I think it could be a great boon to the gaming industry. I'm not an expert on this by any means but I'll share some thoughts.
Pros:
-Games that would be completely ignored during TGA got a real chance to shine.
-Wide selection of genres meant there was something for every type of player.
-Dev interviews felt like deep dives that provided useful information.
-Full interview links gave fans even more info.
-Luality is a natural entertainer and works well in this setting.
-Luke Stephens consistently comes off as knowledgeable and that shines through in this setting as well.
Cons:
-Terrible pacing ensured the show never had a real flow.
-Awful moderation made interacting in the chat an abysmal experience.
-Panel segments were long and boring because there is no chemistry between the hosts.
-Panelists constantly repeated information we had just heard.
-Panelists pretended they loved all the games even though we have followed these people for years and know there are some titles they wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. That comes off as inauthentic.
Recommendations:
-The games title should always be on the screen. Oftentimes I was interested in a game but had to ask chat which one was being shown.
-People shouldn't be able to spam the chat with words like "sand" over and over again.
-Cut the panels to three people and rotate who they are based on who can have entertaining conversations about that particular group of games.
-Don't put a cut after nearly every panelist response. More wide shots showcasing interaction and hopefully chemistry between the panelists.
-Mercilessly cut panel time down to the specific portions that are informative/entertaining. It's okay for a dev interview to have dry spots because people understand devs don't necessarily have entertaining personalities. It feels totally different watching five content creators have a long boring discussion.
That's my two cents. Looking forward to the 2027 showcase. :)

Thanks to everyone for watching the first ever iteration of the New Game+ Showcase, and a huge thank you to the devs We already have lots we want to improve on and can't wait to start planning for 2027

@originalso76094 They don't even understand their own rules. The way they move the net is inconsistent and makes no sense.
