@totithoth The spell itself is the real question. Can Rudeus dodge Fern who early on can cast arrays of this? And she DOES get stronger at a rapid rate, people just use her first battle as a reference. Rudeus is not Qual so he can't just make a shield to it, he'll need to kill first.

@totithoth IDK like Frieren's universe admits 2 things: Zoltraak is omnidirectional instant cast&kill to anyone not ready for it. And all mage armor and shields in their world has been made to defend against it.
The spell itself is so crazy that I think people just stop accounting for it.

Unless he could speed cast a spell she'd not seen while she's already distracted, she has almost no weakness. That's what the whole Frieren vs Frieren battle showed.

Frieren's got magic that cannot be felt and is not mana based (by the world's rules it SHOULD be the magic the goddess uses)

@migurd_greyrat If we're playing off the source true to its word, every mage in Frieren no-difs MT Rudeus. Zoltraak at the end of the day is an unblockable instant kill soul piercing spell that only after years of engineering did they create a defense to. THAT'S the real source.
