@TheSaintCentre Never really given a chance with us. 10 minutes here and there. I think the bloke has real class and potential. Would love to see him stay and given a run of starts. I’m convinced he’d score goals and will be a success wherever he goes. If he leaves, I’d love to see him do well.

@SaintsExtra @rees_julian I think he’ll be on very shaky ground if he gets it wrong again Saturday. We’re the second biggest spenders in the league. None of our marquee signings are even in the team. I genuinely desperately want him to do well, but he’s getting it so very wrong right now.

@SaintsExtra @rees_julian I (genuinely) want him to be successful. But his inability to even pick our best players or formation is beyond frustrating. Blames not having a right back for picking 5 at the back, next game, plays 5 at the back with a right back. Leaves out players who should play etc

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over & expecting different results. I can only presume he’s being forced to do it. As his system CLEARLY doesn’t work for us, but we do it anyway. So it must be mandated to him. If not, then he’s clueless and has to go #saintsfc

Hugely frustrating that we’re a quarter of the way through the season and he doesn’t seem to know what our best team is.

@AlfieHouseEcho I really want him to succeed, but I’ve seen nothing that suggests he will. Doesnt even seem to know his best team. No game plan, baffling substitutions an a plethora of excuses after every game. Say what you like about Martin, but at least we knew what we were set up to do.

@SaintsExtra Not good enough. Using excuses about last season worries me. Sounds desperate. We have one of the biggest budgets in the league, a squad full of talent and, reality is he’s struggling to know what his best team is or how we play. I’m in the give him time camp, today was dreadful.

@Sfc_debs Downs is young. New country, new game. He needs to be given a chance at least. It’s too early to judge him. I thought he was OK yesterday. Let’s show him some support and see what happens.

@TheSaintCentre Very disappointed with Stewart. Been on the payroll for 3 years and I really think he owes us and needs to dig in. Came on yesterday and was ineffective. I actually thought Downs was OK and given time could improve. And Archer needs game time, start him!

Arma, Downs, Stewart, Archer ❌ Plenty of fans have pointed out that none of our strikers have scored so far this season Is that down to poor recruitment, or do we simply need more attacking quality around the forwards to get the best out of them? #saintsfc
