Haaland didn’t win aerial duels, he didn’t link the play, in fact the ball was bouncing off him, but guess what he did when got the decisive chance… yes, he put the ball at the back of the net. That’s the most important thing in football.

Why do people keep telling me to mention Rice?
Rice has never been a buildup figure, he’s best in the world at the attributes he offers, i don’t need to start saying this. Buildup wasn’t an issue when Rice played with Partey and Jorginho. Even at that Rice has been a more reliable buildup and ball progression figure than Zubimendi this season despite not being a buildup specialist.
