The Western Mustangs Cheerleading team are National Champions for the 37th time! The team cemented their legacy at the 2025 Power Cheerleading Athletic/Cheer Canada (PCA) National Collegiate Championships where 20 universities and over 700 competitors were in attendance. "A good captain is only great if he has a great team. And I’m proud of each and every champion of the 37th PCA Nationals!" Mustangs Cheer Captain. 36 Western University student-athletes competed in the Large Coed Premier Division - 20 men and 16 women, placing 1st; and 35 #Westernu women student-athletes competed in the All-Girl Premier Division, placing 3rd.
