@StevenLind78746 @Thefactsdude They can do that when it is warranted. In this case it was not . Simply handcuff her and bring her to the cruiser. If she fights or resists then I whole heartedly support this type of takedown.

@Thefactsdude If Police can't do that then we might as well just not have Police anymore and go back to the wild wild west. Give everyone a gun and say good luck.

NEW: Columbus officer slams woman to the ground during Linden arrest as Inspector General investigates Officers responded to a 911 call reporting two armed suspects trying to knock down a door. Cellphone video shows a woman walking backward toward officers with guns drawn. One officer then moves toward her, sweeps her leg, and takes her down onto the pavement. A second person at the scene was also handcuffed. The move is described as a Level 1 use of force, the lowest level on the Columbus Division of Police use-of-force scale. Columbus police say the Ohio Inspector General is investigating the use of force.

@PoliceThePolic1 Why do the cops have to act out with so much aggression and dominating control when it’s not needed or necessary?? There’s no reason for her to be accosted like that. No need for all that ego aggression.

A 67‑year‑old Phoenix grandmother says U.S. Marshals turned a quiet moment of yard work into a nightmare when they swarmed her driveway, aimed guns at her, threatened to “hit” her, shackled her, and hauled her away... all because an algorithm falsely flagged her.

Coward ass cops just made the job way harder for the cops that do the job the right way. Just made a homeless young man more homeless and more vulnerable than he ever was before. They’re just so damn spiteful for not allowing him to collect things that’ll help him survive the night a bit better that he actually owns.

Albuquerque, New Mexico officer Joshua Montaño developed a DWI pay to play ring that saw people arrested who were under the legal limit but were wrapped up in so much legal red tape they would of course need a lawyer and Montaño was only too happy to help with legal referrals that would culminate in the officer not showing up for court once the lawyer informed him the check had cleared, up to 16 officers from various departments in the greater Albuquerque area I’ve been implicated. ⏺️ Overview of the Case: The scandal involves a corruption scheme within the Albuquerque Police Department's (APD) DWI unit, where officers allegedly funneled arrested individuals to specific attorneys in exchange for bribes, leading to case dismissals. This "DWI enterprise" implicated multiple law enforcement agencies, including APD, Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), and New Mexico State Police, resulting in thousands of DWI cases being dropped due to compromised officer credibility. Key Figures Involved: ⏺️ Joshua Montaño: Former APD officer (2005-2024), pleaded guilty in February 2025 to RICO conspiracy, bribery, and related charges; resigned in March 2024 after being placed on administrative leave; relinquished his law enforcement certification in June 2025. ⏺️ Honorio Alba Jr.: Former APD officer, pleaded guilty in February 2025 to bribery charges alongside Montaño. ⏺️ Thomas Clear III: Attorney at the center of the scheme, pleaded guilty to federal charges including RICO conspiracy. ⏺️ Rick Mendez: Paralegal for Clear, pleaded guilty to RICO conspiracy; involved in offering deals to drop charges for fees. ⏺️ Other officers: Up to 16 officers implicated, including Justin Hunt (resigned February 2024), Kyle Bargman, and others from various agencies; some faced no charges but had high dismissal rates. ⏺️ How the Scheme Operated: Officers arrested individuals for DWI (sometimes questionably, like below legal BAC limits), then directed them to Clear's office. There, clients were offered to pay fees (e.g., $8,500-$10,000) for guaranteed dismissals. Officers intentionally missed court hearings or MVD license proceedings to facilitate drops, receiving cash, gifts, legal services, or hotel stays in return. A tip in April 2022 to the FBI exposed details, including Montaño confiscating a license and passing it to Menendez. Specific Incidents: ⏺️ Carlos Smith case (2025): Arrested by Montaño for DWI despite blowing below the limit; received a voicemail about missing jewelry and was directed to Clear's office, where a recorded conversation revealed fee-based dismissal offers. 🚩 Montaño's personal DWI (2022): Involved in his own drunk driving incident, recovered with family GoFundMe support, but continued in the unit until the scandal broke. ⏺️ Broader impact: At least 306 dismissed cases led to reoffending by some drivers; federal probe described targeting and exploiting drunk drivers ⏺️ Investigation and Fallout: Federal investigation began after 2022 tips; first charges filed February 2025. Over a dozen officers resigned, terminated, or reassigned. By February 2026, ongoing tracking showed continued legal proceedings and public safety concerns from reoffenders. Montaño admitted in resignation that issues were "generational" within the unit. ⏺️ Current Status (as of March 2026): Pleas and certifications relinquished; scandal has led to reforms in DWI enforcement and thousands of case reviews, with victims like those extorted seeking justice through organizations like ACLU-NM.

Have you ever been arrested for eating Taco Bell? It happened to this guy! Curtis McLaughlin Jr went through the Taco Bell drive through and then parked in an empty parking lot to enjoy his dinner. Watch how the cops handled this ⬇️⬇️ Do you think they took it too far?

Imagine, being a paraplegic and having the police drag you out of your car by your hair!!! That’s exactly what happened to Clifford Owensby. Pollice wanted to search his vehicle and he repeatedly said, "I cannot step out, I'm a paraplegic." The police department eventually settled with him for $125,000. Watch what happens and tell me if you think that’s enough! 👇👇

Police corruption, racketeering, organized crime, illegal "tax" collecting... need I say more? This is the crap that gives good cops and police/sheriff's departments who uphold The Law and do good service to their communities a bad name. Shame on them. Citizens need to hold them accountable.

WOW 🚨 California resident captures the police in Ventura setting up an entrapment trap You can see all the officers huddled with their motorcycles and cameras filming They send people out to cross the road without green walk signs. Any car that doesn’t stop gets pulled over This isn’t the first time I’ve seen entrapment scams like this in California

@Elongetsit @LeeMerrittesq What about “self control” of the officer? Why not just write her another ticket for littering and be done with it? You’ve done your job as a LEO and she will be held accountable in court. Instead he let his inflated ego get the best of him & escalated the interaction into force.
