@TheCryptoMando Interesting, re-read this part of the Bible with judas and all recently. It is interesting to know that Jesus knew exactly what was going to happen and that he decided to fufill the prophecy as written in the text anyway.

@imshillgates But ultimately, it answers every cultures deepest need to be free from *sin/karma/evil/etc*. Jesus died in our place of judgment and offers forgiveness that we could NEVER earn. Christianity is the only religion where God says, "you can't do it, so I'll do it for you"

@imshillgates No. Have you heard of "ad hoc" before? If so you would need to find the most plausible explanation for what occurred afterwards. Why did the church survive the first 300 years under threat of death? Why did they start this "myth" in the same city and at the time it happened?
