I’ve moved on from the titans drafting Love cause it’s clearly not happening so it’s back to Bain or Bailey (I’m cool with both)
If our offense sucks again and we win 4 games, I’ll come back to this moment. The same people pounding for “value” will be the same ones complaining.

He’s a gritty blocker and makes contested catches. It almost reads like they’re trying to drop his value

@HaydenWinks @FB_FilmAnalysis For how twitchy he is, I find him underwhelming when he gets the ball in his hands.
His Forced Missed Tackle rate is pretty low, I believe it’s around 8% for his career.

@FB_FilmAnalysis i didn't think he survived contact in contested situations, which is a different trait than making spectacular grabs.
i think that rep is pretty tough given the context of the game. this was the worst example, but he does do some interesting things throughout each game.

@Numb_Rage Misunderstood me... I'm saying bend is a great skill to have but it's not the only way to win as a pass rusher. Bailey's bend is not great, I acknowledge that, but think it's being wildly overblown in discrediting his effectiveness as a pass rusher.

David Bailey's true pass set win rate (TPS PRWR below) at 38.6% is an absolutely ridiculous number. Bend is great but it isn't the only way to win as a pass rusher. Bailey won and produced at a truly elite rate in college.

Bailey as a true pin-your-ears-back pass rusher is awesome. He’s so fun and his spin could be such a perfect counter to his elite first step.
However, he is maybe the lowest effort defender in the entire draft class when plays go away from him. Even if they are two or three yards away he will pull up and jog over with no intent to do anything.
Elite burst, could be a great pass rusher, but it is JARRING to watch how little effort he gives if he can’t get a sack.

Let the record show that I’ve been out on Arvell Reese for a long time and it has everything to do with being neither the best edge rusher in this class nor the best off ball LB in this class and NOTHING to do with a clip of him running around a bag awkwardly in tights.

There have been 29 off-ball linebackers drafted in Round 1 since 2009. I believe only 4 signed a second contract with the team that drafted them: Luke Kuechly (2012) Dont'a Hightower (2012) Leighton Vander Esch (2018) Brian Cushing (2009)

@BallinFFB You wrote all that for a QB who went 3-14 😂😂😂 Dart played a harder schedule with a injury bugged roster and was competing in every game with arguably one of the worse defenses in the league giving up 40 points in the 4th QTR to lose multiple games , stop the narratives

Last 2 seasons fans have been complaining about edge and WR.
