NEW: LA County Supv. @kathrynbarger says the Board’s vote to declare a state of emergency in response to the federal immigration raids has NOT resulted in any aid distribution to impacted families.

The proclamation, which Barger voted against, was intended to provide rent relief and legal aid for families impacted by ICE raids.

Appreciate the accountability on @Lj_era8’s part. Right thing to do. Kudos to him. But it’s on Andrew’s. So sad. The guy has been great for years — Mr. Reliable. What a horrible time for this to happen to him. But it happened.
