Regular REL prerelease, you’re in the last round playing for prize. Opponent throws, catches it and asks if they can take back (and likely run a line that wins them the match). Do you let them?

hey ptcg players, how do y'all differentiate different pokemon cards of the same pokemon when talking about them like how do you colloquially say "I'm running pikachu from set X in my deck " without getting it confused with Pikachu cards from other sets?

@NileJoanRivers Also there's usually like 1 main Mega or X or whatnot for each mon you can just say like "Mega salamance" or whatever

@NileJoanRivers Context can be pretty important. Usually it's pretty easy and it's assumed you're talking about the played one and not a shit version, just like in magic. If I said I need oko for my oath deck, you would assume I'm talking about the good one and not oko the ringleader.

Okay, okay, I get it, it took me a while... but the Elo project is now updated with PTSOS and the Vegas PTQs and LCQs. ^_^ GGs @Nathansteuer1! 1971 → 2178 is a pretty impressive leap back up. A *lot* of guesswork went into LCQ/PTQ curating. Hit me with corrections.
