@jakeformayor Tbh *if* most of the DanDan drop was bought by *players* who were interested in the art and curious about a new format that would be a huge win in my book. Dandan is awesome and getting people into a non-UB, non-commander format that actively makes you better at magic is awesome.

Fwiw I was able to get a copy before it sold out and I did not pre-queue or even get in the queue at launch. This one felt like you had to be quick but not ungodly impossible to get like some previous SL Drops have been. That's still not an excuse for allowing this much scalping

Hot take: this is still underpriced. $99 was a joke and designed to create an instant sellout after the disaster that was TMNT. Anchoring to that number is emotional. The market just told us what it was actually worth.

Made Top 8! Lost in the quarters but started 3-0 into being the only 4-2 to make it in (one day I'll get to ID). Got multiple compliments on my play which was extremely nice and managed to beat a player who has won a PT to boot! All in all a good day.

@rcondon_ A slow cooker is low key the best investment you can make if you struggle to make food every day imo. Simple to use, simple to clean, and there are always a ton of leftovers.

I think 2 or 3 year standard depends on the amount of power creep. Atm it feels like cards mostly defacto "rotate" after 1-1.5 years but I am unsure how much of that is due to the increased number of sets per year. Either way drop the number of sets per year please @wizards_magic

When my 16 creatures have 23 total creature types, the limited environment is needlessly complicated. Especially when we're pitching Universes Beyond as an onramp for new players, creature type actually matters, but so many of these DON'T.
