@kgypsyy @_Carmelitaa @snitchery I'm saying they used tear gas, rubber bullets, riot gear, & way more police coverage on the BLM protests whereas the Trump Riots received much less police involvement. I don't advocate for any kind of violence, I advocate for equality, including how these issues are handled.

@kgypsyy @_Carmelitaa @snitchery Never called you racist & I agree, Hate doesn't create peace. However commenting on how BLM "burned cities to the ground" in defense of the Trump supporters vandalizing the Capitol doesn't instill peace. My main point still is the wildly different ways both groups are handled.

@kgypsyy @_Carmelitaa @snitchery You only care about the innocent people who lost their businesses because they lost them to a movement you don't advocate for. What about the Trump terrorists that are storming/vandalizing the capitol?? Halting government activity? Oh but that's just collateral damage, right?

@kgypsyy @snitchery I'm pointing out that's it's extremely interesting to see the difference in reaction the police had to a majority white crowd of Trump Rioters vs. their reactions to mostly POC BLM protesters. Like damn???? You missed the whole point, and for what? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Having covered many protests over the years, I do wonder if the majority of these folks were black and brown whether they’d be treated the same way they’re being treated right now.

We have been evacuated from the House chamber and moved to a safe location. This isn’t a protest. This is an attempted coup. I never thought we’d see such anarchy spurred by our own president.

This is where “take him seriously, not literally leads” — days of the president urging supporters to cancel the election certification with a “wild protest,” and Republicans humoring him until guns are drawn in the Capitol. Congratulations.

Clearly this not a protest. This is anarchy
