My current targets for Chelsea by no order of preference: CB: Lacroix, Bisseck, Ordonez, Diomande LB: Hall, Balde, Brown ( gone to Bayern unfortunately ), M.Araujo RB ( only if we sell Gusto ) : Palestra & G.Doue 6/8: Barrios, Sangare, Scott LW & LHS 8/10 hybrid: I.Maza, C.Uzun, M.Rogers, MGW, Godts, Batrakov. More targets out there for sure, but atm, these are the ones i feel would do well in Xabi's system. Lot of other top players i'd love like Guler, Paz, Tchouameni, M.Fernandes etc, but i wanted to do the list that's more on a realistic side given the situation we are currently in.

Bro, no1 in right mind goes for Frimpong to replace Trent in back 4... no1... that was most obvious flop signing possible. Frimpong is one of the rare fullbacks out there who is actually worse defender than Trent, which isnt easy to achieve whatsoever.. and they sold depth expecting all their players will stay fit, which ofc, you cant rely on... they did so many mistakes and made that squad worse.. its insane.. not buying a 6 last season was negligence of highest order.. same what we did when we didnt replace Colwill..

@ChelseaWay_ Liverpool still lack a true DM and their defense has gotten far worse letting some one like Konate walk free. Still no seasoned replacement just two injured kids. VVD can't stay carrying forever. But it's ok 150 barcola will solve everything

People laughed at this last season btw. Obvious squad depth issues going on at Liverpool, and they are always 1-2 injuries away to gettin into troubled waters. That rebuild isnt going as smooth as it should have been, and this is exact reason why balance is alway the key. Around 350 mil spent on 3 players ( where one of them is rotation btw ), while you neglect FB, midfield and centre back areas. Squad depth + balance wins you trophies, not big names. I am glad we are learning atleast, cos we should be the last ones to talk about balance as Chelsea fans. 4 years of really bad decisions brought us here. Xabi Alonso may just save us from mediocricy. Top transfer window and right profiles coming tru doors. Cant w8 for the season to start 🤯

Lewis Hall + Alex Scott = finished squad. If we manage to get these 2, there is not a single club in Europe who go against us as clear favourites. Level of physicallity, technical prowess, ball carrying, link up play, fire power up front and genuine balance in this squad would fully go tru the roof. Instant floor + ceiling raisers to fully complete the new rebuild under Xabi Alonso, and sign we are fully back. To top that, this would probably be the best transfer window we had in literally decades. For LB, there is definitely no1 available out there atm who is better than Lewis Hall. In terms of midfield, there is definitely some midfielders who would suit us well even if we didnt end up gettin Alex Scott. Barrios/Chema/Bernal etc etc. But if we finish this window in a right way, we are truly back, no doubt about that. Close to finish line, lets push it tru @ChelseaFC 💙
