Godts is top level talent, but he needs to improve physically to translate properly to PL. Deffo a top player in small pockets of space, can make something from nothing. Has that bit of magic to him. Prefer some1 like Maza/Uzun for what we need, but i get why we are interested

I'm staggered that people think he'd be keen to become the 7th permanent manager of Clearlake's 4 year reign at Chelsea, 6 months on from being (I would argue unfairly) sacked by Real Madrid. I've been wrong many times before, I could be wrong on this... But I'd be amazed if Xabi Alonso took the Chelsea job. If the right offer doesn't appear this summer, just wait. What's the rush?! He's 44, coming off the first "failure" of his career.

@TheScore01 They suit us the best, they will work best with what we already have, and they are imo superior tactically to Iraola. If Iraola was better man manager, better name to get high profile players, then we could have a convo. But Alonso wins it in almost every way at important stuff

@TheScore01 Team suit in this exact moment. If you got 5 6 7 most important questions that have to be asked for certain position, and from all those questions, Iraola can get 1 answer going his way at best, then the choice is clear. This is why i want Alonso. And this is why i want Hoeneß.

I’m so sick of this contrast divide over football styles. Been going 8 years. Alonso & Iraola both have their own modern styles of football, both would work at Chelsea. Both close to what Chelsea fans like. Alonso’s style reminds me of Tuchel, Iraola’s reminds me of Carlo.
