@jessphillips pleased to see you’ve been in Colchester. My 16 yr old daughter was chased by a man with a pair of scissors and he tried to kill her in May 2025. Despite CCTV capturing it all and witnesses he still hasn’t been charged.

@GMB social care and Caroline’s assessment of LA provision, LA’s are not able to provide home care at a lesser cost than private providers. What evidence is this view based on? Look at the @homecareassn price for homecare. compare with how many LA’s are anywhere near this rate.

@bppulseuk This unit is local to me. Every time I try to use it, it doesn’t work. It’s also frustrating to have to download an app, register an account, supply my email address and phone number, register a card and then go through security verification for the card just to plug in.

@homecareassn @DHSCgovuk Is there anything different about this campaign to previous ones that haven’t worked or are the govt just regurgitating the same campaign again?

@Anniepop2027 @tranmererovered @VanessaOnAir @LBC The blind arrogance of this person is unbelievable. We are a small business and the rise in employers NI has forced us to cancel recruitment because we are not making enough profit. Also, food inflation is going through the roof.

Working people aren’t being taxed more than under the Tories. Labour have not raised VAT, income tax or NI for working people. Facts matter @VanessaOnAir @LBC

@richlido @piersmorgan @KemiBadenoch Yes this is exactly it. People voting reform will vote reform because to them immigration is the single most important issue that they are prepared to forsake everything else for and Reform know it.

@danny__kruger @ZiaYusufUK If you’re targeting the care workers and their families (who are here legally), how do you plan to solve the recruitment crisis, that led to the need to sponsor them, to fill the skills and labour gap that your policy will create?

@Keir_Starmer @RachelReevesMP Could you please ask @RachelReeves how young people are expected to find work when employers can’t afford to hire due to the hike in NI? My 16 year old has been unable to find any work and it isn’t without persistently trying!

There's a witch hunt happening in the media right now aimed at someone I know to be a person of real integrity – someone whose values I share . It's not right , and we all know the motivations of those behind the briefings and the headlines . . .

We won't tolerate employers relying on low-cost overseas labour. That’s why we’re raising the entry requirement for Skilled Workers to degree level - making sure companies invest in home-grown skills and talent.

@ukhomeoffice You’re so dangerously short sighted. Most of us don’t want you to stop hard working healthcare workers coming to the UK. These workers are propping up our health and care system and you have come up with no plan or reforms to solve the recruitment gap you’ve caused!

Net migration is down – and we’re going further. By raising Skilled Worker requirements to degree level and cracking down on low-wage overseas hires, we’re ending overreliance on cheap labour and making employers invest in homegrown talent.

I’m proud that the NHS has always been open to international talent, but the truth is that we’ve become over-reliant - including on countries with severe shortages of healthcare staff. We’ll going to do more to grow our own and retain on talent 👇🏻

@IBlameTonyBlair Where’s Reeves’ compassion? All the workers who have lost their jobs because employees can’t afford to hire. All the people living in fear of not being able to make ends meet through her unfair cuts. My compassion is with them.

Our CEO @drjanetownson OBE, alongside Owner of @lapiscare Liz Blacklock & carer Sadie Ravening, spoke to @kategarraway & @edballs on @GMB about the impact of low council fee rates for homecare. Watch below⬇️
Good Morning Britain@GMB

"Where is the fault? Why is this still actually getting worse?" @edballs asks by Dr Jane Townson of the Homecare Association, which says a third of councils pay suppliers so little that it doesn't cover the cost of paying the minimum wage.
