At minimum this summer, we need a left winger, a midfielder, a CB, and we have to pray that Colwill returns at the same level.

This is actually bollocks. Quality of players cannot be compared b/w generations, simply cannot. VVD is the best around but he would never be in these conversations had he been a couple generations early. Players are always compared w peers. Stop living nostalgically. Im 29 btw
