The Indian salaried class has been methodically stripped of every single inflation hedge available to it, one budget at a time. You tried crypto. They slapped a 30% flat tax on gains, allowed no set-off of losses, and added 1% TDS on transfers. You tried equities. Budget 2024 raised STCG from 15% to 20%, raised LTCG from 10% to 12.5%, increased STT on F&O, and also killed indexation for most other long-term capital gains. You thought fine, I’ll diversify some savings abroad through LRS. They put 20% TCS on remittances above 10 lakhs for investments abroad. You tried Sovereign Gold Bonds, because surely a government-issued, government-backed gold hedge would be the one clean instrument they would not mess with. Then Budget 2026 came along and removed the capital gains exemption for secondary market buyers. And now the final insult. The Prime Minister has publicly asked you to avoid buying physical gold for a year in the “national interest,” because gold imports use foreign exchange. So let me get this straight. A middle class wagie earning in depreciating rupees, watching FD rates hover around 6.5% while real life inflation keeps eating his purchasing power, has now been told: Crypto is taxed like a vice. Equities are more expensive to hold and exit. Foreign diversification gets hit with TCS. SGBs are being wound down and tax-narrowed. Buying physical gold is now unpatriotic. Basically, every single exit from rupee depreciation has been systematically curtailed. You are expected to hold your savings in instruments the government controls, at returns the government sets, for a currency the government is rapidly inflating away. Does this sound like Amrit Kaal to you?

Wild. SpaceX just bought the right to acquire Cursor for 60 billion dollars. Cursor had a problem every founder secretly fears. every company selling them the tools to run their business was also trying to kill them. OpenAI. Anthropic. Google. their landlords were also their rivals. then Elon walked in with a massive GPU cluster and an escape hatch. here's what actually happened↓ Cursor is one of the fastest growing software companies ever. zero to roughly 2 billion dollars in annualized revenue in about 3 years. to keep growing, they needed to train their own AI. but training AI needs massive computing power. and the only companies that have that power are the same ones building Cursor's biggest competitors. OpenAI has Codex. Anthropic has Claude Code. Google has Gemini CLI. Cursor was paying its rivals rent while those rivals tried to replace them. then SpaceX made the offer nobody saw coming. Elon's company has been building one of the biggest AI compute clusters on earth. they just handed a massive chunk of it to Cursor. in return, SpaceX got two things. one. the right to buy Cursor for 60 billion dollars one year from now. roughly 15% above Cursor's current valuation. two. if SpaceX walks away and never buys Cursor. they still pay 10 billion dollars just for the partnership. read that again. 10 billion dollars just for walking away. that is more than Cursor was valued at a year ago. here's what nobody is saying. this was never a straight acquisition. it's a compute deal dressed up as one. SpaceX didn't need a code editor. Cursor didn't need money. they traded the one thing they each had in excess. compute for Cursor. distribution and product for SpaceX. and Elon just bought a one-year call option on the future of coding for 10 billion dollars. that's the deal.
SpaceX@SpaceX

SpaceXAI and @cursor_ai are now working closely together to create the world’s best coding and knowledge work AI. The combination of Cursor’s leading product and distribution to expert software engineers with SpaceX’s million H100 equivalent Colossus training supercomputer will allow us to build the world’s most useful models. Cursor has also given SpaceX the right to acquire Cursor later this year for $60 billion or pay $10 billion for our work together.

I’m shocked more people aren’t making $10,000/month with Claude. It’s simple. I shared it with a single mom... she now makes $4,000/month working 1 hour/day. Usually, I'd charge $199 for this, but today I'm giving it away 100% FREE (Claude prompts included) Like + comment 'Claude' & I'll DM it to you Must follow me to get DM. FREE for 48 hrs only.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 What if the Hormuz closure is working exactly as planned?... 18 million barrels a day vanished from global markets in three weeks. Everyone blames Iran. But Iran didn't physically close the Strait. What actually stopped shipping was insurance companies pulling war-risk coverage after a U.S. submarine torpedoed an Iranian frigate in the Indian Ocean. London underwriters shut Hormuz down, not the IRGC. Now ask yourself who benefits. The U.S. is the world's largest oil and LNG producer. Asian countries watching Ras Laffan burn need a new supplier. And whoever controls Hormuz controls China's energy lifeline in the AI arms race that will define this century. The problem is the war has spiraled beyond anyone's control. Both sides are hitting nuclear facilities. Gulf allies are furious. Iran is more hardline, not less. And Trump may have no choice but to finish what he started, even if the costs are becoming unbearable. Strategic? Maybe. Under control? Absolutely not. Source: Kpler , @anasalhajji Media: @H_Ciloglu

**Joy of Eating** All the eating advice and fad diets have taken away the basic joy of eating. Counting proteins and fiber can never match the rasa you feel when you even think about your favorite food—let’s say mango. Personally, I digest heavy food better when I enjoy it than healthy food I force myself to eat. Eat healthy, but also enjoy eating, let your senses soak in the rasa.

Incredible scenes out of Tehran. March 4, the US began dropping 2000 pound bombs on the densely populated city of 9 million people. I guess we’re not trying to free the Iranians anymore. Also, the administration still says this is not a WAR.

India has no market. Very small. Further whoop is a totally different concept. The smart watches craze was there until it slowed down. That is very basic product This is tech is new and still not proven. It has long way to go specially in country like India Don't just go by India penetration by numbers. India love result and this can give any expect in very long run.

@AnshulGarg1986 @asharoraa Im guessing its lack of penetration in the Indian market for wearables, usa has a lot of competitors in this space. I cant think of any great product here in India for wearables, whoop is the only one worldwide thats gained great traction but I would consider it expensive here ..

India Private Valuations are complete madness Deepinder Goyal's New Startup Secures $54 Million at USD 190 million valuation Lumia a startup in USA which has launched similar product has raised USD 17 million upto date and there is no valuation disclosure and this product still has to make it mark there. Imagine market like US which much more developed in terms of everything and which has more takers of this new tech still don't creating a hype of valuation and the Indian market which is much smaller and few taker is giving valuation of USD 190 million with funding of USD 54 million. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Don't understand what investor smokes?

For a second, I thought he is going to do something for Temples :-)
Deepinder Goyal@deepigoyal

We're recruiting at @temple. At Temple, we are building the ultimate wearable for elite performance athletes. A device that measures what no other wearable in the world measures, with a level of precision that doesn't exist yet. To build it, we need people who are obsessive about both the craft and the category. Engineers who are also athletes. People who will wear what they build, and hate it until it's perfect. Roles we're hiring for: 🟠 Analog Systems Engineers, Electronics Design Engineers 🟠 Embedded Systems Engineers — low-level HW bring-up, embedded signal and image processing, embedded AI 🟠 Design and Validation Engineers — sensors, actuators, battery, antenna, optics 🟠 CMF Engineers, Adhesive Materials Engineers 🟠 Sensor Algorithms Engineers — estimation theory, sensor fusion 🟠 Deep Learning Engineers — ML model development for physiological metrics 🟠 Computational Neuroscientists 🟠 BCI Engineers — real-time EEG/EMG acquisition and processing 🟠 Neural Decoding Researchers — brain activity to semantic mapping 🟠 Computer Vision Engineers — facial microexpression, subvocal muscle detection 🟠 Neuroimaging ML Engineers — multimodal sensor fusion 🟠 Last but not the least, product managers who work through Figma without needing a designer to hold their hand Important – we are building for people who push their bodies to the edge. We want to be those people, not just serve them. So only people who take fitness seriously, and have body fat <16% (men) and 26% (women) should apply. If you're not there yet but will commit to getting there in three months, you can apply too; but you'll be on probation until you are. Write to build@temple.com with your core skill as the subject line. Come find your tribe.

@Gavel_on_X Think of it as a lifestyle and not for aesthetics, it’s forever. Go more fundamental, why workout ? Betterment in old age being self sufficient being independent. Being motivated just gets you started, discipline is what makes it forever, routine gets easier once it’s ingrained
