I’m honestly still trying to process what just happened. My younger brother owns a school, and we even live in the same area. I have five children, and with how things are these days, it hasn’t been easy keeping up financially. So I decided to swallow my pride and go to him… not as just anyone, but as his sister… to ask if he could help me enroll my kids in his school. The response I got shocked me. He said the best he could do was give a discount for two of the children… and that I would have to pay full fees for the rest 3 in secondary school. What hurt me the most is that he knows my financial situation. He knows what I’m going through. I didn’t argue. I didn’t even push it. Out of shame, I just stood up and left. Since then, I’ve been feeling somehow… embarrassed, hurt, and confused at the same time. Now I keep asking myself: Did I do something wrong by asking my own brother for help? Was I expecting too much? Or is this one of those moments where reality just humbles you? I really need honest opinions… because I don’t even know how to feel about this anymore. Copied

My wife’s younger sister, who is 23, came to stay with us about one month ago. Since then, I’ve been uncomfortable with the way she dresses, and my wife doesn’t seem to see anything wrong with it. She often wears very revealing clothes—see-through singlets and nightwear—and it makes me uneasy. I don’t know how to tell my wife to speak to her sister about dressing more appropriately without it sounding like I’m attracted to her. During the Sallah holiday, my wife was away at work, so I was left alone in the house with her sister. It got to the point where I had to leave my house and stay at my work accommodation just to avoid sl£eping with her. One morning, I was about to wash my clothes, and she offered to help. While doing that, her towel slipped, and she didn’t seem bothered at all. Another night, my wife went out for a program, leaving just the two of us at home. When it was time for prayers, she came out dressed in a very revealing outfit. I had to really control myself and felt very uncomfortable. My wife is never bothered about it. Our marriage is just one year old, and I have never cheated on my wife. She trusts me, and I don’t want anything to jeopardize that. But this situation is putting me under serious emotional pressure. I’m honestly confused about how to handle it. How do I talk to my wife about this without causing misunderstanding?

@Bunmie_oguns I had to stop my wife from going to work at 8 months. Labor day arrived and sister called her friend with all the delivery stuff she had and they strolled into the hospital, her sister called me and before I got to the hospital, they were on their way home. All within 1 hour.

You see this labour and delivery matter ehn… it’s not one pattern at all 😭😂 My neighbour went into labour for her 3rd child… This woman just quietly stood up and said she’s going to the hospital. No panic. No shouting. No announcement. Like she was going to buy bread 😭 Before they could even settle her on the bed… Baby don already arrive like: “Hi everyone, I’m here” 😭😂 The nurse sef was shocked. She was literally holding the baby’s head like: “Madam, can you at least give us 2 minutes to prepare??” 😭 Imagine someone leaving your house now now… Next update: “She has given birth.” You’ll just be there thinking… Is this childbirth or fast delivery on express lane?? 😭😂 Meanwhile some of us… From first contraction, the whole hospital will know our surname 😭 Shouting, crying, calling on ancestors and future generations 😭😂 At this point, just pray for safe delivery… because you don’t know if yours will be peaceful like a documentary… or a full action movie with sound effects 😭

Honestly, I used to think it was only women that get pressured to marry. Until yesterday … My aunty actually called a family meeting for her son because he’s over 40 and still not married 😭 I went there as a good cousin, sat quietly in one corner… already calculating the food I will eat after the meeting. Not knowing I came for premium drama 🍿 After opening prayer, they called my cousin to come and explain himself. This man stood up with full confidence and said: “I’m not financially stable yet. I need more time before marriage.” Omor… Na so my aunty scream, fall down, and start rolling 😭 She was shouting: “You that have two cars and your own house?? My enemies have finally caught me!!!” Wahala My cousin now reminded her that he brought one lady years ago and she rejected her. That he’s not even interested in marriage again for now. Omor… the same aunty started begging: “Please bring her back, I will accept her!!!” I just sat there like… wow 😭 Everybody was rushing to carry her, fan her, pour water… Meanwhile me, my own problem was different… No food. After I burning fuel money in this fuel economy, I now came to sit down and watch film for free??? Wahala At the end, the family gave him one year ultimatum: “Bring a wife or we will find one for you.” I just kept quiet and faced my life… Because the way things are going for me ehn… By the time it’s my turn, my own family will not even stress themselves 😭 They will just carry me go market like: “Who wan marry? We get one fine boy here, very calm, no wahala” Aru 💁‍♀️
