Chinese PLA Eastern Theater Command Conducts Training of Assault on Maritime Targets, Seizure of Regional Air Superiority, and Anti-Sub Operations to the East of Taiwan Island 东部战区位台岛以东海空域开展对海突击、区域制空、搜潜反潜等科目演练 On December 29, the Chinese #PLA Eastern Theater Command employed destroyers, frigates, fighters and bombers to conduct drills in the waters and airspace to the east of the Taiwan Strait, focusing on subjects of assault on maritime targets, seizure of regional air superiority as well as submarine hunting and anti-submarine operations. The drills tested capabilities of sea-air coordination, precise target hunting and annihilation.  12月29日，中国人民解放军东部战区位台岛以东海空域，组织驱护舰、歼轰机等兵力，开展对海突击、区域制空、搜潜反潜等科目演练，检验了海空协同、精准寻歼能力。
