Just got back on Overwatch with some friends today, after not really touching the game for months/years. Used to compete professionally in @EsportCompanyUS 6+ years ago and the memories are coming back. Kinda miss it. 💔 Glad @MarvelRivals has me primed rn. May need to take a stab at OW comp again now that I’m so deep into Rivals.

My biggest hurdle currently is team mentality. Let me clarify, I'm not perfect. I slip up a few times and can get heated. I'm human. However, it's really ridiculuous seeing my teammates immediately lose full in the ban phase over banning a character (that no one in the match played even). Because of this, it's lead to horrible inconsistency in my wins/losses and enjoyment being a flex player. No matter what role I play, these players still exist. They'll just snap at the slightest moment of conflict and blame everyone, but themselves. DPS crashing out about heals while they are solo diving or not playing with the team. Usually stuck solo tanking (and when I'm not, we still have people yelling about not having a shield tank for their poor positioning), and Supports constantly flailing when getting dove. It's the wild west! 🤣 I used to compete in Overwatch, Paladins, Apex Legends, Fortnite, etc. I've got a lot of experience in shooters. I even threw 745+ hours in the game over the past few months and it's been fun...but not so much recently. Definitely wish I could get to GM at the very least, but it may have to wait until this upcoming season if I'm lucky. If I had a competitive group of friends who were looking to genuinely try and perform their best, I think I'd have more fun. Solo-Queue is hell.

Any groups/clans/orgs worth joining? Mainly for @PlayApex? I need like-minded individuals to play games with. Preferably competitive win-seekers with a good sense of humor. Getting tired of solo-queuing in everything I touch.

Recently finished the Lord Black Cat “speed run”. Sorry it took so long, a lot of things happened this past weekend that really slowed me down. I'm halfway done with my Black Cat Lord "Speedrun" challenge. Original plans for this weekend are a bit scuffed and I'm no longer competing in the MRC Closed Qualifiers this weekend. One of our teammates isn't able to get on either day, so we're cooked. Hopefully I'll be able to continue my competitive journey and find a more dedicated group of players to run with. More content on the way and potentially bringing back some old channel favorites. Stay tuned!
