We were lucky to have some Year 2 children come to Cherry class and read us their amazing stories inspired by Jack and the Beanstalk 🌱 Seahorse class were so brave and we loved hearing your fantastic stories. Thank you @wideyseahorse ⭐️

We have learned about position and direction in Maths. We used language such as “left, right, forwards, backwards, above and below”. We gave our bee bots directions to follow! 🐝 ⭐️

We are so proud of our final outcome for Art! We painted portraits of King Charles III in the style of Pablo Picasso 🎨 we think they’re funny!

We have been learning about Pablo Picasso in Art this term. We used collage materials to build a portrait. We learnt that we can use different features from different faces! 🎨 🖼️

Some practical maths! We were great at working as a team! 🌟

This week we have been counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. We used bead strings to help us count in 10s!

In Maths, we have been practically exploring mass. We used cubes to make predictions of how heavy objects were. We then used the scales to check if they were right. ⚖️
