A wonderful moment as we welcome a brand new addition to the family. Mum did so well, and a special thank you to the team at the midwife led Bluebell unit at Warwick Hospital. His two older brothers are so proud of mum and baby. I am, simply, bursting with love and joy.

It’s been a busy but incredibly productive two weeks fighting for our community and building the future our county deserves. ✅ Constitutional Duties: I chaired the cross-party appointments panel to select four legally essential roles required for us to operate. These are vital for our progress—stay tuned for more details in my next post! ✅ Energy Security: I had a very important meeting with Heyco Energy regarding energy provision in Lincolnshire. We need a common-sense approach to energy that ensures security of supply and supports our local economy. ⚡ ✅ Infrastructure & Growth: It was a pleasure to cut the ribbon and open the new East Midlands Railway building in Lincoln. I also met with the fantastic Finbar, the new Humber Freeport Chairman, to plan the jobs and growth our area deserves. ✅ Protecting Our Landscape: I have officially submitted objection letters regarding the Anwick Biogas facility and the North Moor Solar Farm. We must protect our countryside, future of our farming and ensure that large-scale projects are not just pushed through regardless of the impact on our community. ✍️🚫 ✅ International Investment: I held a productive meeting with the Israel Embassy to discuss exciting investment opportunities for our region. 🇮🇱🤝🇬🇧 ✅ Standing up for SEND: Meeting with the Lincolnshire Autism Society was both inspiring and heartbreaking. Hearing what SEND children and their parents have endured reinforces why I am so committed to my role chairing the Reform UK SEND policy working group. Our children deserve better. ✅ Fixing our Services: I’ve also been meeting with stakeholders to tackle the dental crisis in Lincolnshire. While not strictly in my remit, having only one surgery per 17,000 people is wholly unacceptable, and I am working on a plan to fix it. 🦷 ✅ Out and About: Great to attend the Reform Grimsby Christmas fundraising dinner! I also sat down with BBC Lincolnshire, ITV Calendar, and joined the TalkTV phone-in last night to discuss the issues that matter to you. 🎄 On a personal note, I managed to squeeze in some festive magic by taking Clifford to see Father Christmas one evening! 🎅

@FredSmithMail @MartinSLewis Apart from years of history of there were troubles relating to Ireland. The UK also had issues between different groups of Christians at various other times. The beliefs and actions of individuals shouldn't define whole groups. It's innocent children that get radicalised.

I've just turned my phone on after Yom Kippur, when like many British Jews I go out of digital contact. I've just felt a visceral shock of such terrible news. My thoughts and prayers with all affected in Manchester. We cannot allow division and hatred to rule. I'm proudly British, my family have been in the UK for many generations. I believe this is one of the great tolerant societies that revels in, and should be proud of, freedom of worship for all, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus and more. These individuals seeking to divide us will not win. We must not let them.

@MartinSLewis Too many people who are unable to process these tragedies without the influence of media, and so the norm is to hate... which ultimately breeds more hate. So many children of all backgrounds are going to be defined by the words and actions of adults. Well done on you message...
