the unofficial pokemon game that let you play as a villain. on november 16, 2023, a creator named caminopreacher released an unofficial pokemon rom hack called pokemon silver rival. this game completely inverts the story of the original pokemon gold, silver, and crystal by letting the player experience the johto region (and beyond) through the eyes of the rival character, silver, son of giovanni. you begin by breaking into professor elm’s lab and stealing your first pokemon, which turns gold (the original player character) into your rival. you also have the option to join team rocket, climb your way up their ranks, and embrace your father giovanni’s criminal legacy. the game is a modified version of the well-known liquid crystal hack (based on pokemon firered), so it features a full remake of the johto and kanto story with significant changes tailored to silver’s perspective. after you finish the main story in johto and kanto, the game unlocks additional post-game areas, including the orange islands as a new region.

@freyrkkuma Swanna is terrible, but can be acquired early (I think you can get Ducklett on the Skyarrow bridge) and learns both fly and surf. Not useful in battle but good for HMs

@JamesSm14219310 @Whisgoon It's not an issue that the Foundation does that stuff, it's to be expected. The issue is moreso that writers never explore this as a topic of discussion when there's so much ethical stuff to look into. Missed opportunities and all that!

The SCP Foundation runs the worlds largest trafficking ring and modern day slave trade so it really irks me whenever people think bigotry doesn’t really exist at the foundation because ‘they have bigger things to worry about’, when it would realistically be so rampant.

@plutoxcsm A big thing between him and Makima is she idolized Chainsaw Man and didn't care for Denji. Specifically, Makima wanted to be eaten by Chainsaw Man, not Denji, so by eating her, Denji is reversing one of her greatest desires to be about himself and not Chainsaw Man. peak cinema

Theft means something is being taken, but there is nothing available to take- that's why the pirated copy was made. Also, why are you implying all laws are good?
