The Folio (Julio Foolio/Charles Jones) murder case: On June 23, 2024, the Jacksonville rapper was ambushed and killed in a Tampa hotel parking lot while celebrating his 26th birthday. Four men from Jacksonville—Isaiah Chance, Sean Gathright, Rashad Murphy, and Davion Murphy—tracked him there and opened fire in a gang-related hit, also wounding others. All four were convicted of first-degree premeditated murder and conspiracy just days ago. They're now in the penalty phase (life or death). The clip shows Davion Murphy laughing during his co-defendants' pleas for mercy.

deepseek is raising a monster $7 billion round at $50B val making it china's largest ever AI raise but what shocks me the most is the founder, liang wenfeng: > he's personally contributing 40% of the round himself. $3 billion. > he owns 90 PERCENT of the company (unheard of at this valuation) > deepseek was founded inside his hedge fund, one of China's most successful funds. guys a fucking beast. this round is meant to achieve 2 things: 1. acquire as much compute to push out new deepseek models more often 2. turn deepseek revenue-positive by pushing new enterprise products (same tactic as OAI and anthropic) deepseek v4.1 is expected to release soon.

@LukeADesign Even big brands sometimes have trouble with this. Feels like you stepped into an evil multiverse variant where they serve Kentucky Fried Children.

Remember to properly invert your logos. Just changing your logo to white isn't always enough. For the Destined logo, if the colours were simply inverted it immediately feels wrong. To counter this, take the time to make sure that the highlights remain light and the shadows remain dark.

@lidocaine_v2 Yes it started, however we are filing for year 2025 which was under the old tax law so technically it’s march 2027 when we file that the new law will take effect

@Chibuliem_ @filip_animation Coming from AE you'll pick up Blender's animation side fast! The Graph Editor works similarly to AE's — Bezier handles, ease in/out. Blender's Geometry Nodes are great for mograph too. Start with the donut tutorial, then jump to animation. You've got this!
