The downtown Chicago, Illinois office vacancy rate rose to an all-time high of 28.6%, having now hit new record highs for 15 consecutive quarters. Almost half of the 40M SF of vacant office space downtown has been available for at least three years. Up from 13.8% when the COVID-19 pandemic began. "Companies cutting back on office space as they adapt to remote work trends have left downtown with a far smaller office tenant base than it had before 2020 and decimated property values, creating rampant distress and scaring off many institutional investors needed to fuel the market’s recovery." -Crain's #commercialrealestate

The Biden Admin spent $4M in tax dollars on a museum to tell a selective story of @EPA history. It costs $600K per year to operate even though only 1,909 external visitors came through in the last 9 months. Today we are closing it.

I remade this video with new audio. Catholic audio. I don't have time to slow and mess with the already sped up/choppy video they used so I can match the audio better. Just removing the boomer modernity beats for a simple "Kyrie" is way more impactful for even just a quick video like this. Let's start standing on our tradition and it's beauty more. Stop being lazy. I feel like I'm going crazy when I see this weird indifference by Catholic media to use the traditional beauty the Church offers. Imagine using an Christian 1am infomercial beat from the 90s instead of a Catholic chant to honor these baptisms. Something so simple.

Many young people were Baptized and confirmed as Catholics last night at the Easter Vigil.

Good idea for America too: Make Easter Monday a Federal Holiday @POTUS
