Very interesting piece of data coming from our fan rankings. On July 3rd, before Leo Carlsson signed his offer sheet, he ranked 28th among forwards. Since then, he has shot up to 14th, ahead of bonafide superstars like Nick Suzuki, Jason Robertson, and Jack Hughes.

Yeah this about sums it up. Dynamic offensive qualities, elite spatial awareness, creates tons of space for teammates, tons of shot attempts, elite rush patterns, projectable defensive qualities, and of course 2 on-ice GA that weren’t his fault and teammates fumbling the puck.
