JUST IN: Los Angeles authorities are currently carrying out potentially the largest animal rescue operation in United States history. L.A. officials are reportedly removing an estimated 700 dogs and cats from a property in Antelope Valley. According to investigators, the animals were in the care of Christine De Anda of Rock N Pawz animal rescue. During the search, about 400 dogs and 300 cats were found. Dozens of LA County Department of Animal Care and Control staff members and mutual aid partners arrived at the scene and provided medical aid to the animals. "This is the largest number of dogs and cats that DACC has ever seized and may be the largest case ever in the United States," LACO Animals said in a statement. Video: KTLA 5

Taylor Frankie Paul has temporarily lost custody of her 2-year-old son Ever, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.⁠ ⁠ Dakota has been granted a temporary protective order and sole custody until a court hearing scheduled for April 7.⁠ ⁠ According to court docs, Taylor is to have no contact with Dakota and stay at least 100 feet away from him. Additionally, the order states that "no parent time is allowed until the scheduled hearing."⁠ ⁠ The news comes as police have an open domestic assault investigation into recent allegations involving the couple. Yesterday, ABC pulled Taylor's season of 'The Bachelorette' after a 2023 video surfaced showing Taylor in a physical altercation with Dakota.⁠ ⁠ Following ABC's decision, a spokesperson for Taylor told ET that she has "remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation and public shaming" and is "currently exploring all of her options, seeking support and preparing to own and share her story."⁠
