Took roughly 28 hours post-strike for @WestJet to come to a tentative agreement, but those 28 hours cost my family FOUR days, despite my rights as an air passenger. My husband needed to work. My kid has prepaid sports camps. We don’t have a flight until August 5. @CTA_gc

@resemaryactive Can you? Is this ai or a person ? Flight canceled to a wedding in Mexico. Westjet is absolute mayhem. All the guests are attempting to find a flight as WJ. Is not doing that automatically and there are no flts and want to charge 3000. Mayhem. Wedding ruined.

Update from Cancun - @WestJet just issued cancellation for my home leg, so far no cancellation for Cancun to YYZ. My gut says, it’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when. Praying for the best potential outcome…

If you had your flight cancelled by #WestJet and rebooked with #Porter, you’ll need your e-Ticket number from when you originally booked with westjet (starts in 838) as well as your 6-digit reservation code.

@Tiffanykeeping @WestJet Yeah, I have no idea what we’re going to do. My husband works tomorrow and my daughter has a softball camp. We had even moved our flight earlier to avoid the strike before they offered the change or cancel option and still can’t get home. This sucks.

Call volumes are so high that I can’t even call @WestJet now. My husband works tomorrow. My kid has a camp. We need answers and a flight on another airline.

So, the strike was initiated at 12:01 AM MT, but my @WestJet flight hasn’t been cancelled. They’re dragging their feet to avoid addressing the fact that my family needs to get home. I’m so over the lack of competition in Canada…

@ChicksDigScores @WestJet This is what I'm afraid of. They'll keep rebooking and rebooking and pushing the flight back further and further until I miss the reason I'm going in the first place.
