One of our Advanced Care Paramedics, Kristen Hamilton, has received a special citation from @OPP Commissioner Thomas Carrique, for her "courageous actions" in helping to rescue an injured motorist trapped in a vehicle deep into a marsh, on Oct. 12, 2024. Way to go, Kristen!

The Medical Priority Dispatch System (MPDS) has officially launched at the Central Ambulance Communications Centre in Cambridge! This state-of-the-art system helps to better triage 9-1-1 calls so paramedics can be dispatched to critical patients faster.

Halton paramedics completed SAFER-P training to strengthen threat assessment, de-escalation, and harm-avoidance skills. With over 500 reported incidents of violence since 2022, this training is vital. Thank you to MHWTP staff for their support.
