Nah this is correct, mortgage is light work, escrow for property tax etc inflates a ton not to mention trash, sewer, water, electric, oil/alternative etc. shit be expensive, but I do agree it’s bullshit homie can’t build equity if they can afford it. Just not as cheap as ppl think

@Tekeee Because rent is just rent, you owe nothing else. A home means you have property tax, insurance, repairs, maintenance and other costs. And the landlord can kick you out of an apartment in 60 days if you don't pay. The bank needs 1-3 years to evict you.

The breakfasts are not free. They are paid for by taxes - mostly on parents who feed their own kids. Most of these 10,000 children would have had a perfectly healthy breakfast at home without these clubs. This isn't about helping the poorest kids, it's the state taking over the basic job of parenting.
