First 3 months after maternity leave/ flexible working ✅ Somethings were easier than anticipated, somethings much harder. 🚨999 colleagues: What did you find the biggest challenges returning from maternity/to flexible working? & what have been the best support initiatives?

@JJSharpers I returned from maternity 6 weeks ago after 15 months away from Ops- it was daunting but everyone was very kind 💙 make sure you take the flexibility you need, it’s important. Top tip: don’t refer to yourself as ‘Mum’ in the 3rd person, you get some funny looks 😜 good luck 🍀

@Rookieresponder This is a great Q - I have just returned from maternity and once I’ve got my head back round the day job, intend to crew out as a PC with my teams- it’s 6 years since I was a response PS and alot has changed. I’ll let you know how it goes and whether I was a help or hinderance!
