@afdrumss @MaddJournalist Why are you saying y’all? I don’t care for the spurs or the NBA 😂 I’m saying what I and almost every other person who is not a OKC fan who’s not blinded by fandom sees. The way they’ve been playing this series is disgusting and horrible for the game of basketball.

@Chiefington2 @MaddJournalist I still think yall will win the series. I just don’t see McCain and Caruso beating yall. Shai is off, Chet barely exists. If Spurs lose it’s on them not being able to execute or lack of exp or not able to make adjustments or simply being the inferior team. Plain and simple.

I’ve played, coached, reffed & covered basketball for 30+ years. I’m also NOT a Spurs fan. What OKC has done — building half their strategy to manipulate the refs on every possession — is a disgrace to the game and awful to watch. This is Harden on steroids. Fans deserve better.

@Chiefington2 @MaddJournalist That’s simply not true. Sorry. They even did the article where he falls on 17% of his shots. More than anybody. Without foul calls it’s 10%. So 1 out of every 10 shots he falls and doesn’t get a call. That means 90% of the time he doesn’t. That’s what we are complaining about?

@afdrumss @MaddJournalist Shai went an entire game where he flopped on EVERY jumpshot, do you know how egregious that is?? Not a single jump shot did he land on two feet, completely fell to the ground! There’s literally videos everywhere showing it. This isn’t “a couple flops” it’s 60 minutes of it.

@Chiefington2 @MaddJournalist I’ve watched every OKC game since 2010. This is the exact same team from last year. The only difference is we are more injured 😂. Its a loser take to say “theatrics” are helping us win. Every team flops. Harper, Wemby, Castle all flopped multiple times tonight. Who cares.

@afdrumss @MaddJournalist Nobody is saying OKC is a bad team or that they don’t play good team ball. It’s the theatrics that they didn’t do last year which people are disgusted by. They’re great on both sides of the ball, but the extra stuff needs to stop. It’s not winning them games, but it does help!

@Chiefington2 @MaddJournalist It’s the same team as last year when everyone praised our play. Ball movement, team basketball at its finest. It still is. We have beaten the Spurs (who are crazy good) twice with Shai and some bench players. And Shai isn’t even playing that good. It’s not cuz of the refs 😂

If you watch the games and think they don’t do any of the things you named above that’s called delusion. Also it’s the timing of the calls, not just the amount, a lot of them have been in key moments.

If that’s gonna be the label then actually give us the calls, FTs, and all that comes with it. It’s even or we have less

The bias is coming from one side and it’s not the side you think. If a majority sees it and only OKC fans don’t, who’s really being manipulated?

@afdrumss @MaddJournalist You do realize free throws aren’t the only deciding factors when it comes to calls correct? There have been many calls that shifted momentum because it resulted in a turnover or as seen in the example a 4 point swing from a missed goaltend. There’s more to the game then FTs 😂

@MaddJournalist If OKC gonna be labeled as the refs favorites I wish we’d at least lead a series in free throw attempts. The way yall talk about these calls when we win is like we shot 40 FTs and the other team shot 10. Spurs are a +11 rn. Lakers were +14.

At this point can’t even blame SGA, if you know the refs are gunna give you the whistle often, why not do it. Gotta put the refs at fault they choose to call that shit, so him and all of OKC continue to do it 😂 like even the blasphemous flops are getting called 😂
