And btw, #lcfc spent more time in the top four during the 2019-20 & 2020-21 seasons than any other club, and still came 5th both times. I’d have been horrified if our owner marched onto the pitch to berate Brendan that way.

Completely agree. Loved how the school was portrayed with its endless “mini” confrontations & organised chaos. It is like that in many schools.

Finally watched Adolescence. The world’s given its take and here’s my microscopic contribution: the school in episode 2 is entirely plausible. Writing its depiction off as an ‘insult’ to teachers is tribal. I’ve seen many schools with this decaying level of culture. What resonated? 🧵
