To prove trafficking, 3 elements must be shown: 1. 𝐀𝐜𝐭 – What traffickers do: recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring, or receipt of people. 2. 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 – How they do it: through threats, force, coercion, abduction, fraud, deception, or abuse of power or vulnerability. 3. 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 – Why they do it: for exploitation, which includes slavery, forced labour, sexual exploitation, child/forced marriage, organ removal, child labour, or forced involvement in armed conflict. Our discussions focused on expanding reach, responsiveness, and long-term sustainability of the helpline — ensuring that every child in Kenya can access timely support, no matter their background or location. @ChildServicesKE

We reaffirmed our shared vision: a more efficient and community-responsive child protection system. Key priorities: Devolved response models, Stronger feedback loops, Local language & cultural inclusion

Challenges still persist — high call volumes, limited local integration, and occasional system downtimes. These must be addressed to ensure equitable protection for all children, especially the most vulnerable. #ForEveryChildKE

Together with @ChildlineKenya, we emphasized a data-driven, child-centered approach to inform better policy, improve trust in 116, and raise public awareness of its role as a reliable safety net.
