It has been five days since our party chairman, @DrNaseemBaluch’s father and two uncles were forcibly disappeared from their homes. This followed an open threat by the Chief Minister of #Balochistan, who stated that the government would use collective punishment against the families of Baloch activists. Dr Naseem Baloch’s elderly father and uncles are retired officers with no involvement in any political party. Despite this, they have been kept incommunicado in an apparent attempt to pressure Chairman Naseem. I urge human rights organisations and the international community to take notice of these atrocities, and I also call on Baloch activists to raise their voices strongly against this unlawful practice.

In the early hours of 2 February, at approximately 3:30 a.m., a large contingent of the Pakistani army raided multiple houses in Hub Chowki,Balochistan, and forcibly disappeared Retired Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Bakhsh Sajidi, his brother Naeem Sajidi, and Engineer Rafeeq Baloch, the former Chief of Sui Gas Balochistan. Mohammad Bakhsh Sajidi is the father of @DrNaseemBaluch Chairman of the @BNMovement_ , while Naeem Sajidi and Engineer Rafeeq Baloch are his uncles. The raid and subsequent abductions were carried out without any legal justification, reflecting the ongoing pattern of collective punishment and enforced disappearances in Balochistan.

Pakistani forces have targeted civilians in retaliation for the BLA’s Operation Herof. Family members of @DrNaseemBaluch have been abducted—part of a long-standing tactic used to pressure Baloch leaders and activists into abandoning their struggle. In the latest edition of @defenceDetectiv, I discuss Operation Herof, Pakistan’s response, the responsibility of India and other regional and international powers, and the current situation in Balochistan. youtu.be/TRUmVbVSdHA?si…

This confession is not an exception, it exposes the state policy. From 1976 to today, Pakistan continues the same genocide and “kill & dump” practice in Balochistan. Yet military spokesmen, so-called journalists, and most of Pakistani society still deny the enforced disappearance of thousands of Baloch, claiming they “fled abroad.” The lie remains the same — only the victims change.

BNM Protest in Germany Against Enforced Disappearances, Pakistan Army Attacks, and Collective Punishment in Balochistan Sunday, February 8, 2026 | #BNMProtests thebnm.org/protests/28195/ The Baloch National Movement (BNM) organized a protest demonstration at Porta Nigra Square in the German city of Trier to draw international attention to the systematic and grave human rights violations ongoing in Balochistan. Human rights activists and supporters of the Baloch nation participated in the demonstration. Expressing solidarity with the people of Balochistan, the protesters voiced serious concern over enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrests, and state repression against political dissenters and human rights activists. The participants stated that these actions are being carried out in an organized manner by the Pakistani state. Through placards, banners, and speeches, the protesters urged the international community, global human rights organizations, and the media to break their silence on the situation in Balochistan. Speakers emphasized that despite decades of documented and persistent human rights abuses, the suffering of the Baloch nation continues to be ignored on international platforms. During the protest, BNM activists also distributed of pamphlets in German and English. The demonstration highlighted the severe impact of these abuses on women, children, and the families of enforced disappearances. Speakers noted that the families of the disappeared—especially mothers and children—have been demanding justice and the safe return of their loved ones through peaceful struggle for years, yet they are being subjected to collective punishment instead of receiving justice. Speakers including Luqman Baloch, Wajahat Baloch, Asif Baloch, Mujeeb Abdullah, Shariq Baloch, and Habib Baloch strongly condemned the enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and collective punishment faced by the people of Balochistan. The speakers also sharply criticized the actions of the Pakistan Army, stating that it is using force against civilians in Balochistan. In recent days, dozens of people have reportedly been killed by direct military action in Gwadar, Mastung, and Kech, while civilians have also been killed in drone strikes. Protesters said these circumstances place a responsibility on the international community to reassess military and economic aid, defense partnerships, and arms sales to Pakistan. Highlighting one of the worst forms of collective punishment, the protesters stated that the families of human rights defenders and political activists in Balochistan are also being subjected to enforced disappearances. They cited the recent enforced disappearances of Muhammad Bakhsh Sajdi (father), Naeem Sajdi (uncle), and Rafiq Baloch (maternal uncle) of BNM Chairman Dr. Naseem Baloch. According to the protesters, these arrests are intended to pressure the BNM chairman into abandoning his political activities. They further stated that Dr. Naseem’s family has long been subjected to relentless Pakistani state repression. Several of his close relatives were forcibly disappeared for years, and one family member was extrajudicially killed during a home raid. In recent days, the families of other BNM leaders and activists have also faced harassment. The speakers stated unequivocally that BNM leaders and activists will not be intimidated by such tactics employed by the Pakistan Army. The protesters also mentioned the arrest of prominent lawyer Imaan Mazari and her husband Hadi Ali Chatha, stating that collective punishment in Balochistan is not limited to the families of Baloch activists but also extends to their lawyers and human rights defenders. They said Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha were detained for speaking out against atrocities in Balochistan and for representing cases of enforced disappearances. The protesters demanded that the United Nations, the European Union, and international human rights bodies conduct independent investigations into the human rights violations in Balochistan and hold those responsible accountable under international law.

Netherlands Commemorates Mastung Martyrs; @DMBaloch_ Highlights Dr. Manan Baloch’s Lasting Legacy Thursday, 5 February 2026 | #BNMEvents thebnm.org/secretary-gene… Dil Murad Baloch, Secretary General of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), said that the void left in the Baloch national movement by the martyrdom of Dr. Manan Baloch, Babu Nauroz Baloch, Shaheed Ashraf Baloch, Hanif Baloch, and Sajid Baloch is irreplaceable. The sacrifices of these leaders and activists mark a shining chapter in the history of the Baloch nation—one that will always be remembered. Speaking at a BNM event in the Netherlands, Dil Murad Baloch highlighted the lasting legacy of these martyrs. He said Shaheed Babu Nauroz Baloch was an intellectual, visionary, and ideologue whose thoughts and struggles gave the Baloch movement both depth and direction. “Friends like Babu Nauroz are born once in centuries,” he remarked. “The absence of such leaders is a loss not only to the movement but to the entire Baloch nation. Yet, their mission and ideals continue to guide future generations.” He emphasized that the continued activism in the Baloch national movement is a direct result of Dr. Manan Baloch’s sacrifices. “During these challenging years, the intellectual strength, courage, and perseverance we have gained are the fruits of Dr. Manan Baloch’s guidance and struggle,” he said. “He not only awakened our consciousness but also set a shining example of sacrifice that continues to inspire the movement.” Dil Murad Baloch noted that through Dr. Manan’s tireless work, relentless struggle, and selfless dedication, the Baloch National Movement has emerged as a strong and respected political force on the global stage. “Dr. Manan’s leadership and sacrifices laid the foundation of BNM, enabling the party to remain steadfast in its ideology,” he added. Describing Dr. Manan Baloch as a compassionate and insightful leader, he said his life was dedicated to the political awakening of Baloch society and the ideological and practical training of political activists. He believed the ordinary Baloch should play an active role in politics, not remain passive observers. For activists, he was not just a leader but a mentor who inspired perseverance, principled action, and determination even in the most difficult circumstances. “His life was a shining example of purpose, service, and unyielding struggle,” Dil Murad Baloch said. He concluded by calling on all members to carry forward the mission of Dr. Manan Baloch and his comrades with sincerity, intellectual rigor, and unwavering courage. “We must integrate their struggle, sacrifices, and ideals into our lives and continue the Baloch national movement with the same discipline, awareness, and resilience upon which it was founded. This is the truest tribute to these great leaders and martyrs, and our collective responsibility.”

#BNMPamphlets STOP ENFORCED DISAPPEARANCES IN BALOCHISTAN thebnm.org/pamphlets/2820… The systematic abduction, enforced disappearance, and widespread human rights violations against innocent Baloch women, children, and families by the Pakistan Army constitute grave violations of international law. These practices amount to collective punishment against a peaceful population. In recent years, violence against Baloch women has intensified. Women and family members of politically and human rights–active individuals, including relatives of the Chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), are being deliberately targeted through enforced disappearances, harassment, and intimidation. This policy aims to silence the Baloch people through fear and repression. PROTEST DEMONSTRATION Baloch National Movement (BNM) We protest against: • Enforced disappearances in Balochistan • Violence against women and children • Systematic human rights violations by Pakistani forces We demand: • An immediate end to enforced disappearances • Full disclosure of the fate and whereabouts of all forcibly disappeared persons • Independent international investigations and accountability Silence is not an option Free Balochistan - This pamphlet was distributed in Germany in both German and English. PAANK views this arrest as part of a broader pattern aimed at intimidating and silencing human rights defenders, lawyers, and activists who peacefully advocate for justice, accountability, and the protection of fundamental freedoms.

PAANK Condemns the Arbitrary Arrest of Human Rights Lawyer Imaan Mazari and Advocate Hadi Chattha We strongly condemns the arbitrary arrest of prominent human rights lawyer and activist @ImaanZHazir and her husband, advocate Hadi Ali Chattha, @AdvHadiali by police in Islamabad. According to reports, the couple was detained while traveling to attend a scheduled court hearing. At the time of arrest, no formal First Information Report (FIR) was presented, and there are credible allegations of excessive use of force and blatant disregard for due process. Such actions raise serious concerns regarding the erosion of fundamental legal protections, including the right to be informed of charges and protection against arbitrary detention. PAANK views this arrest as part of a broader pattern aimed at intimidating and silencing human rights defenders, lawyers, and activists who peacefully advocate for justice, accountability, and the protection of fundamental freedoms. PAANK demands the immediate and unconditional release of Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir and Hadi Ali Chattha.
