Attack on Senior Exiled Party Member Captain Nawaz’s Home Reflects the Enemy’s Frustration: BNM Spokesperson The spokesperson of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) stated that the house of the party’s senior exiled member, Captain Nawaz, located in Dazin, Tump area of Balochistan, was once again attacked by the Pakistani military and its local death squads. During the attack, women and children were harassed and terrorized, the house was vandalized, and valuable belongings were looted. It should be noted that Captain Nawaz’s house had previously been targeted in a similar manner. The spokesperson said that in Balochistan, political activists, whether active inside Balochistan or participating in the national struggle from abroad, and their families are continuously targeted by the Pakistani military and agents. He recalled that when Captain Nawaz’s wife and children were residing in Balochistan, his minor son, Brahamdagh, was forcibly disappeared twice and subjected to severe torture. Brahamdagh is under eighteen years of age, and the enforced disappearance and torture of children is a clear violation of international laws and human rights principles. The spokesperson stated that such incidents are repeatedly carried out by the Pakistani military on a daily basis in Balochistan as acts of oppression and repression. Through harassment and intimidation of BNM members and their families, attempts are being made to force them to abandon their national struggle, despite the fact that the Baloch national movement is a constitutional, political, and internationally recognized struggle for the right to freedom. He further said that BNM’s objective is to end Pakistan’s forcible occupation of Balochistan, which was imposed on the Baloch nation on March 27, 1948. BNM is struggling to restore the national independence of Balochistan, which the Baloch nation had achieved from the British on August 11, 1947. The spokesperson emphasized that the oppression faced by the Baloch nation, the forced occupation, the life of subjugation, and continuous state repression have given Baloch youth and political activists the consciousness to remain committed to their national liberation struggle. He stated that BNM leaders and workers, including Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Baloch and ordinary activists, have made immense sacrifices for this cause, and this chain of sacrifices continues to this day. thebnm.org/spokesperson/2…

The Killing of Professor Ghamkhwar Hayat Is an Attack on Baloch Intellectualism: Dr. Naseem Baloch The Chairman of the Baloch National Movement, Dr. Naseem Baloch, strongly condemned the killing of researcher, poet, writer, and teacher Professor Ghamkhwar Hayat, stating that this tragic incident is part of and a continuation of the ongoing Baloch genocide and collective punishment in Balochistan. He said that fifteen years ago, in a similar attack, the state targeted and assassinated the renowned poet, researcher, and intellectual Professor Saba Dashtyari. “We pay tribute to Ghamkhwar Hayat for his martyrdom, sacrifice, and his immense literary contributions and intellectual efforts. He was the author of nearly eighteen books. Undoubtedly, his loss is irreparable for the Baloch nation and for the Balochi and Brahui languages.” Dr. Naseem Baloch stated that, as a nation, “we must not forget that the same Pakistan killed more than one thousand poets, writers, intellectuals, and teachers in Bangladesh. On December 14, 1971 alone, the Pakistani military brutally murdered more than 200 prominent intellectuals. Today, the same painful pattern is being repeated in Balochistan. This is the systematic killing of a nation’s intellectual consciousness.” The BNM Chairman further said that for many years, Baloch intellectuals, students, teachers, poets, and writers have been systematically targeted in order to silence the Baloch national voice and to keep society mentally suppressed and backward. The assassination of Professor Ghamkhwar Hayat is yet another tragic proof of the deteriorating human rights situation and ongoing state violence in Balochistan, where perpetrators continue committing war crimes with complete impunity. He added that the occupying state is using various tactics to destroy the intellectual, literary, and ideological foundation of the Baloch nation. “Teachers, intellectuals, and literary figures form the intellectual backbone of any nation, and attacks on them are in fact attacks on Baloch national thought, identity, history, language, and consciousness. However, truth cannot be suppressed through oppression, murder, and fear, nor can a nation struggling for freedom, justice, and dignity be silenced.” Dr. Naseem Baloch said that Professor Ghamkhwar Hayat played a significant role in promoting awareness, resistance, and national consciousness in Baloch society through his scholarly and literary services. “His killing is not only an irreparable loss for Brahui literature but for the entire Baloch nation.” The Chairman of Baloch National Movement called on international human rights organizations, the United Nations, literary associations, and media institutions to take notice of the extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, and state repression against Baloch intellectuals and civilians in Balochistan, and to hold Pakistan accountable for serious human rights violations. thebnm.org/chairperson/28…

The party will launch a campaign on the occasion of May 28, Youm-e-Asrokh. BNM The spokesperson of the Baloch National Movement stated in a press release that an international awareness campaign will be launched regarding the nuclear tests conducted on May 28, 1998, in the Chagai region of Balochistan and their long-lasting human, environmental, social, and public health impacts. The spokesperson said that, as in previous years, efforts will be made this year as well to inform human rights organizations, environmental groups, academic circles, civil society, media, and conscious individuals in different countries about Pakistan’s nuclear tests, their radioactive consequences, uranium mining from Baloch land, and the dumping of nuclear waste on Baloch soil. He said that the nuclear tests conducted on May 28, 1998, are officially presented by the state as a national achievement, but for the occupied land of Balochistan, that day marked a nuclear scar whose effects are still being suffered by the local population today. Pakistan chose Baloch land for its nuclear explosions in order to collectively punish the Baloch nation. The Baloch National Movement believes that the land, resources, and geography of Balochistan have always been used by Pakistan for its military and strategic objectives, and that this situation will continue until we achieve national freedom. The spokesperson further stated that, in this context, BNM members should make efforts in different countries to expose Pakistani crimes through protests, media campaigns, pamphlets, and documentation. All chapters are instructed to organize prominent programs on this day. thebnm.org/spokesperson/2…

𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗿. 𝗡𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗵 #ReleaseSajidiBrothers Today marks 100 days since the enforced disappearance of Mohammad Bakhsh Sajidi (68), the father of Dr. Naseem Baloch, along with his two uncles, Rafeeq Baloch (67) and Naeem Sajidi (66), who were forcibly abducted by Pakistani state agencies from their homes in Hub, Balochistan. For 100 days, their families have lived in uncertainty, fear, and pain, without any information regarding their whereabouts, health, or legal status. The Pakistani state continues to deny accountability while systematically using enforced disappearances as a tool of repression and intimidation in Balochistan. This is not an isolated incident. It is part of a wider and deeply disturbing policy of collective punishment, where family members of political activists, journalists, and human rights defenders are targeted in retaliation for peaceful political and human rights activities. Dr. Naseem Baloch is an internationally known political activist and human rights advocate who has consistently raised the issue of enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and state violence in Balochistan at international forums, including the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. Instead of responding to legitimate human rights concerns, Pakistani authorities have chosen to retaliate against his elderly family members. The abduction of elderly civilians, men in their late sixties, demonstrates the extent to which Pakistani security institutions are willing to violate fundamental human rights norms. Holding senior citizens incommunicado without charge, trial, or legal process is a grave violation of international human rights law, including protections guaranteed under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), to which Pakistan is a state party. For decades, the people of Balochistan have endured enforced disappearances, torture, extrajudicial killings, arbitrary detention, and harassment. Thousands of Baloch families continue to wait for answers about their loved ones. Yet the international community’s silence has emboldened perpetrators and normalized impunity. PAANK strongly condemns the enforced disappearance of Mohammad Bakhsh Sajidi (68), Rafeeq Baloch (67) and Naeem Sajidi and demands their immediate and unconditional release.

Fozia Baloch @FoziaBaloch10 was denied the right to hold a press conference at the Karachi Press Club and was arrested along with her elderly mother. After more than 24 hours of illegal detention, they were released. Their only demand was to raise their voice regarding the abduction and enforced disappearance of her brother, Dad Shashani Baloch. Today, Fozia was compelled to record her press conference from inside her home instead of being allowed to speak freely in public. These actions once again reflect how fundamental rights, including freedom of expression, peaceful assembly, and the right to seek justice for forcibly disappeared loved ones continue to be denied. @WGEID @profbensaul @UN_SPExperts @UNTreatyBodies

The Barkhan incident will become a permanent part of the Baloch collective memory and will prove to be a reckoning for the occupier: Dr. Naseem Baloch The Chairman of the Baloch National Movement, Dr. Naseem Baloch, stated that the brutal killing of twelve unarmed and innocent members of a single family in Barkhan is part of the ongoing and unchecked violence inflicted by the Pakistani military on the people of Balochistan. This is not an isolated incident; rather, it is part of the systematic oppression that the Baloch nation has endured for the past seventy-eight years. It is a clear act of state terrorism in which unarmed civilians were deliberately targeted and killed. He further said that a nomadic Marri family, who were traveling during migration along the Nahar Kot Road, was directly fired upon by Pakistani forces. Among those killed were women, children, and elderly individuals, people who carried no weapons. They were vulnerable and impoverished nomads, and their only “crime” was their identity. Dr. Naseem Baloch added that the killing of twelve members of a single family is deeply horrifying. The killing of a mother, father, sons, and daughters, targeting three generations in a single attack, is a tragic episode of the ongoing Baloch genocide. This incident will become a permanent part of the Baloch collective memory and will stand as a reckoning for the occupier. He stated that the killing of the following individuals constitutes a war crime: * Ali, son of Sultan Umair, aged 40 * Bebel, wife of Ali, aged 30 * Mir Jan, son of Ali, aged 2 * Baloch, son of Sabzo, aged 70 * Somri, daughter of Bhangan and wife of Baloch, aged 35 * Sado, daughter of Baloch, aged 13 * Allah Bakhsh, son of Baloch, aged 6 * Hapo, daughter of Baloch, aged 8 * Mehrang, daughter of Baloch, aged 2 * Rehman, son of Baloch, aged 18 * Naikho, daughter of Jamalan and wife of Rehman, aged 17 * Shari, aged 22 He concluded by saying that this is an unbearable tragedy in the journey for national freedom. The Baloch people will hold accountable those responsible for this bloodshed. thebnm.org/chairperson/28…

#MartyrsOfMurgaap Seminar: Party Leadership Has Sacrificed Their Lives for National Freedom — Dr. Naseem Baloch A seminar was held in The Hague, Netherlands, by the Baloch National Movement (BNM) Netherlands Chapter to commemorate the anniversary of the Martyrs of Murgaap. The seminar was attended by leaders and activists from BNM, the World Sindhi Congress, the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM), as well as human rights advocates. Addressing the seminar, Chairman of the Baloch National Movement, Dr. Naseem Baloch, stated that BNM is an ideological and political party founded on struggle, sacrifice, and a strong belief system. He emphasized that Chairman Ghulam Mohammad Baloch and his companions established and organized the party under extremely difficult circumstances. During this period, they faced state repression, political opposition, and internal conspiracies, yet remained steadfast in their narrative, strengthening both political and ideological resistance despite all pressures. He said that the history of the Baloch national movement clearly demonstrates that the leadership of BNM has always led through sacrifice. The martyrdom of Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, Lala Munir Baloch, and Sher Mohammad Baloch is a continuation of this struggle. Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Baloch faced continuous state oppression. His enforced disappearance and torture were attempts to silence him, yet he remained committed to his cause until his last moment, fully aware of the risks. Dr. Naseem Baloch further stated that awareness, confidence, and the spirit of sacrifice among the Baloch nation for freedom have grown stronger than ever before. However, political workers must fully recognize their responsibilities to advance this struggle effectively and in an organized manner. Every activist must play their role with seriousness and commitment. This struggle is a national trust for which Baloch leadership has sacrificed their lives. He added that a policy of collective punishment is currently being implemented in Balochistan, where entire families are targeted. House raids, arrests, and enforced disappearances have become routine, while elders, women, and children are also subjected to harassment and pressure. Such actions constitute grave violations of international human rights law. He called upon the international community, human rights organizations, and global institutions to take serious notice of the situation in Balochistan and to play an effective role in ending these violations. Dr. Naseem Baloch stated that the sacrifices of Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, Lala Munir Baloch, and Sher Mohammad Baloch represent a bright chapter in the Baloch national movement. Their struggle has given a new direction to Baloch politics and has shown activists the path of resistance, ideological commitment, and steadfastness. Other speakers at the seminar, including BNM Foreign Secretary Faheem Baloch, Foreign Department Coordinator Niaz Baloch, World Sindhi Congress leader Kamran Jatoi, President of BNM Netherlands Chapter Muheem Abdul Rahim, PTM Women’s Branch activist Ms. Zhaly Walli, and Paank Media Coordinator Jamal Baloch, addressed the gathering. They stated that the sacrifices of the Martyrs of Murgaap are a shining and unforgettable chapter in the history of the Baloch national movement. These sacrifices not only gave new direction to the struggle but also defined a clear ideological path for future generations. They emphasized that the courage, resilience, and ideological commitment demonstrated by the martyrs serve as a powerful reminder that national liberation movements cannot succeed without sacrifice, awareness, and consistency. The martyrs are not merely individuals; they represent a complete ideology, a symbol of resistance, and the embodiment of national consciousness that continues to strengthen the collective spirit of the Baloch people. The speakers noted that despite the challenges faced by the Baloch national movement, the sacrifices of the martyrs remain a source of inspiration and guidance for activists. They stressed that current circumstances require activists not only to rely on emotional attachment but to prioritize political awareness, organizational discipline, and practical struggle. A strong and organized movement is essential to achieving its goals, and every activist must understand their responsibility. They also highlighted that activists working in exile carry even greater responsibilities. Raising their voice on international platforms, exposing human rights violations, and shaping global public opinion are critical duties that must be carried out with seriousness and continuity. They concluded that commemorating the Martyrs of Murgaap is not only about paying tribute but about understanding their mission and advancing it in practical terms. Self-accountability, ideological commitment, and organizational strength are the key elements that lead any national movement toward success. Finally, they reaffirmed their commitment that the sacrifices of the Martyrs of Murgaap will not be in vain and that the Baloch national movement will continue to advance in a more organized, united, and effective manner. They stated that the struggle will continue until the achievement of Baloch national freedom. The seminar was moderated by Deedag Baloch, General Secretary of BNM Netherlands Chapter, and Mahra Baloch. thebnm.org/seminars/28365/ Footages thebnm.org/footages/24580/
