@onyekanwelue Mr. Onyeka, not every who is financially poor is also intellectually poor. Some people understand dat being bitter does not solve money problem. So, they ar focused on their grind, battling their struggles everyday with a smile becus they are hopeful. Speaking from experience.

Dear @X, I recently subscribed to premium X, but it is yet to reflect on my account. On checking what the problem could be, I noticed I have not added phone to my account. Since today, I have been trying to do that, but your system keeps saying I should try again later.

We dated for a year, onetime he told me he was traveling to Nairobi for work but in the next three days his communication dropped,it was weird 4days later something felt off,my instincts told me to go to his place,I mean I knew he wasn’t around but I just wanted clarity..at 1am I got out of my house 50mins later I was in Kira😂the house had no lights on but a voice told me to go knock, which I did and Alas a lady opened she was watching TV😑she asked who I was looking for I told her and she told me to come inside and sit down 😂I foolishly did,she called the guy who was asleep and he said he doesn’t know me,maybe I was lost😭😂😂the woman told me she worked in another district but they are married with one kid she’s expecting the second one..so I should leave because I’m the one he’s cheating with…Trust me I didn’t know how I reached back to my place but all my vision was blurry😹😹😂😂until now I fear men

A funny thing about these wigs. During the religious riots in Kaduna in 2000, in my neighbourhood when boys I knew were blocking streets, pulling people out of buildings and cars and killing them, they also wore wigs. I remember looking through the window of our living room when the riot first started and seeing boys I used to play football with, wearing wigs, waving daggers and machetes, burning things, attacking people.

Nigeria will argue about politics for 12 hours straight on TV, but nobody wants to talk about the quiet massacre happening in our hospitals. In the past few days I have heard horrifying stories about healthcare facilities in Enugu State. Hospitals with no light. No oxygen. No reagents. Barely any doctors. Wrong diagnosis due to bad or outdated equipments. Imagine bringing a loved one to a hospital hoping to save their life… only to discover the hospital itself is helpless. How many people have died simply because the system failed them? How many families buried someone who could have lived if the hospital had basic equipment? Joy Ezeugwu’s revelations about Uwani General Hospital in Enugu opened a window into something many people already knew but were too tired to speak about. Yes, they say the light has now been fixed. Yes, they say the hospital management has been fired. But let’s be honest. Fixing one light is not fixing the system. Across many state health facilities especially in remote villages and poorer neighborhoods, the situation is reportedly worse. No reagents for tests. Broken equipment. Understaffed wards. Buildings that look abandoned. These are supposed to be life-saving institutions, yet many of them look like places where hope goes to die. Healthcare should never depend on whether you are rich enough to go to a private hospital. The poor deserve to live too. The truth is simple: A society that cannot provide basic healthcare for its people is sitting on a moral failure. This is not about politics. This is about human lives. The Commissioner for Health in Enugu State and the entire health leadership need to urgently conduct a full public audit of all state hospitals especially the ones hidden in rural areas. Let Nigerians see the truth. Because if the stories we are hearing are even half true, then what is happening in some of these hospitals is nothing short of a national emergency. We cannot keep losing people to problems that should not exist in 2026. Healthcare cannot be a privilege. It must be a guarantee. And the lives of the poor must matter.

As you get older, your blood vessels stiffen like old rubber, here's what it will do. Your blood pressure will rise, your heart will overwork and the chance of getting a stroke rises. If you exercise often, it makes your blood vessels flexible, blood can flow easier and it makes it easier for your heart, your brain and your kidneys

@OurFavOnlineDoc This is precisely why most Western countries don't respect Africa, but prefer using the continent as experimental ground for testing political, social, financial projects. May Nigeria never fall to this low irrespective of the signs we currently see

@Wizarab10 she would suggest that Daniel could poison me. I was so pissed and irritated by what she said. What really angered me was the fact that she knew how strong the bond between me and him was (still is). I was really disappointed that she could think of him in that light.

@Wizarab10 thinking she would stop there, but she continued "Regardless of how much you trust your best friend, it's not right to leave your drink behind on the..." I didn't allow her finish when I cut in and told her sternly that that would be the first and the last time...

Friend A was telling me about Friend B. They both live in abuja. A said if he was stranded on the road at midnight because his car developed a fault, B is someone he can call, even if B doesn't have a car at that point. He said B would find a way to come pick him up. B has on a number of occasions called A to follow him pick someone up at the dead of the night. So he knows that if A can do it for these other people, he will do it for him. The problem many of you have is that you're looking for who is kind to you alone, and unkind to others. Your vetting skill is terrible. One time I was hanging out with Friend A and Friend C. It was my first time meeting with C. I knew C through A but we were meeting in person for the first time. We went clubbing and C couldn't even club because he was high. He just laid on the club chair and slept. Myself and Friend A took his Phone, money and wallet and kept in our possession, put a cushion under his head and allowed him sleep through the noise. When we were done, we drove C home and put him to bed. When his head was clear, he confessed he hadn't experienced friendship like that and was being too appreciative. It was funny because what else were friends supposed to do when one is vulnerable? I had known A for 15 years and I would take a bullet for him. Protecting C came naturally to us because of value system. We often talk about people recommending you for gigs or job, and mentioning your name in closed door meetings. People also recommend friendship when they find you trustworthy. People will not trust you because you ask them to. You have to make yourself trustworthy. Trust is earned. The thing about friendship is that, if you want friends, you have to first make yourself friendly. Are your friends secret safe with you? Can you give your life for them? Will you show up when they need you? Friendship is not confessional, it is sacrificial.

Some people will not put you on because they have put hands in untoward scheme. They paid the price to get to where they are, and they can't have you benefitting from it if you won't or can't pay the price. Sometimes, this refusal to put you on, is a way of protecting you. All that glitters is not gold.

I was in a public toilet and had just sat down, when I heard a voice from the next cubicle, he said "Hi! how are you?" Embarrassed, I said, "I'm doing fine". The voice said "So what are you up to?". I said, "Just doing the same as you, sitting here!". He said, "Can I come over?". Annoyed, I said, "rather busy right now". The voice said, "Listen, I will have to call you back, there's an idiot next door answering all my questions."

An American aircraft was shot down in Iran and one of the crew members was declared missing. The American government deployed its military strength and rescued that missing personnel. In nigeria, a brigadier general sent his location to the army while he was fighting terrorists, his location was leaked to the terrorists who found him and slaughtered him, parading pictures of his corpse like a dead dog. A whole brigadier general. Today the same Nigerian army is referring to those barbaric terrorists as “clients” and government officials are calling them their “brothers”. What a shameful disgrace. cbsnews.com/news/missing-u…
