This is a non-venomous python. On several occasions, while growing up, I carried the pythons with my bare hands and took them back into the bush. They didn't bite.
In fact, we were told a legend that if the python bites you by mistake or out of your carelessness and you say “mother, you have bitten your child,” she will sigh and the mark on your skin from her bite will be cleared.✍️

I have just seen the news of Daniel Bwala’s passing. It is truly devastating, even though he was in the opposition.
