Thanks, @lruettimann, for having Exec-Comm Learning Consultant, @ChingValdezco, on this episode of Punk Rock HR. Ching expertly explains how to get the most out of your #negotiations - whether it’s a conversation about compensation or a deal with a client.

Cool finding that answers two questions: How do people read a room? And why do crowd emotions get amplified? The answer: people focus on the most emotional faces, which leads them to overestimate the crowd's emotions & react more emotionally themselves! osf.io/cn6qy/

@lizandmollie .@lizandmollie, this is so true. We teach a class on prioritization, and I'd love to show your drawing to our students (properly credited, of course). Would you mind if we share your image in class?

“Midsize companies are also rethinking how they set up their #sales teams. Previously, many were organized according to geography. Now that businesses are connecting virtually, the personalities, backgrounds, and expertise of reps and clients can be more effectively matched.”

Midsize companies that have been performing well during the pandemic have embraced virtual sales to reach customers faster, more effectively, and with smaller budgets. s.hbr.org/3qWTBXO

Whenever I'm tempted to be annoyed at [the thing often called mansplaining], I remember the time I was 21 and explained to a development economist at a party what "microfinance" was, as if he'd never heard of it🤦‍♀️

The most meaningful relationships are achieved when you and others can speak openly to each other about everything that’s important, learn together, and understand the need to hold each other accountable to be as excellent as you can be. (1/3)

@bjfogg My Clubhouse habit: after I log off from work, pop on Clubhouse for 5 minutes and scan upcoming events. If I find some I like, add them to my calendar - that's how I ended up in the room you're speaking in right now!
