@Chipping_Spar @FreightBrkrGuy @Michaelfiore Reading comprehension escapes you. Again, if the shipper and/or receiver are the brokers direct customer, then that is back solicitating. Every broker has it in their agreement that legal action is possible if you back solicit their customer. Brokers are your friend.

Are you kidding me? A truck driver gave his business a 1 star review because he thought it took too long to get unloaded. His review was also full of lies. What would you do in this situation? The trucking industry in the US just keeps getting worse.

@Michaelfiore My Bougy truck from yesterday Michael. I had the whole semi. Took as long as expected. Here is the driver's google review. And no, he didnt help and no, I have no 90yo unloading 15g's lol

@BobbyBatthedoor @FreightBrkrGuy @Michaelfiore Theres no contractual obligation by a shipper/receiver to go through a broker or load board. A private owner op is absolutely allowed to and encouraged to engage directly with potential companies and cut out needless middlemen. These ain’t car manufacturers and you ain’t dealers.

It’s always so adorable when an individual driver thinks they can play at my level. Keep that energy, driver! 😊

@FreightBrkrGuy @Michaelfiore lol, who’s gonna enforce that fine exactly? When I have to take a broker load I always get in with the shipper/receiver to cut out the middle man. A good 70% of my business comes direct now since you dorks don’t have exclusivity contracts. I tell every owner op I see about this.

@FreightBrkrGuy @Michaelfiore Saves the shippers money and gives me a larger cut of what’s out there. With all the non domicile licenses getting pulled you’ll no longer have cheap slaves pulling your even cheaper freight. Maybe you can 1099 for swift 🤣

@iatodayzlV @Zackwbtw @ShitpostRock2 Interesting that you think the mongols, of all people, wouldn’t have fought a forever war for territory had they possessed the ability to transport troops over water.

@bmcc8712 @Hintzeboy5 @hydn_ngn These are both 4+ lane state routes. There’s no pause in traffic to cross due to right turn arrows. You better plan on jay-running if you wanna be left for dead in the concrete wasteland.

@Glyn12556842 @supertrucker This is more than likely solely aimed at off road diesel usage. Undyed diesel users will probably still be required to have operating def systems

@cbjob59 @WarPigsChief Demonstrably false. Columbus’ entire economy relies on administrative and government jobs where as Cleveland is a healthcare hub of the US and has substantially more manufacturing (steel production mostly). Unsure about Cincinnati.

The town has no vibe because it exists solely to be the state capital and just kept growing. Cleveland and Cincinnati both have a history and a personality. Columbus has Ohio State.

This man is convinced he’s at Walmart and not Costco. When you sign up for a membership at Costco, it clearly states in the agreement you signed off on that they are allowed to check your receipt. When this man was trying to leave Costco, he refused to show his receipt and as expected they wouldn’t let him leave. He then creates a scene and accuses them of accusing him of stealing and detaining him against his will. They push his cart inside the store and call for a manager. Do you think this guy really thought he could walk out without showing his receipt, do you think he might be one of those guys looking for a lawsuit?

@Merriiman @gotrice2024 You’ve agreed to terms and you’re on private property. Sure, you can freely walk away but you are not taking that cart with you.

@gotrice2024 They may be able to ban him but they have no right to detain him without witnessing him shoplifting. Breaking contractual terms is typically a civil matter not criminal.
