@JorgeGuardia_ ¿Qué les pareció el evento a los fotógrafos españoles? Tanto yo como algunos con los que hablé pensamos que fue uno de los eventos peor organizados a los que habíamos asistido. Se perdieron muchísimas oportunidades porque nos cambiaban de horario constantemente.

80-1094 is seen here carrying a repurposed pod (port wing). From 2001 to early this decade it was originally used for the Raytheon Remote Airborne Sensor, or RAS-1R, which is a radio freq signals intelligence sensor. It's not known what it now carries. @9thRW #Dragonlady

Today, U-2S 7074 departed back to the States. Despite a bit of exhaust gas blowing over the fuselage it was possible to get the artwork on the port side. @UKdragonChris @9thRW

The crews at Akrotiri did it again! U-2S 80-1074 arrived at RAF Fairford on Wed 13th March and wore these marks on the starboard side. A couple of close-up crops to view the artwork better. @UKdragonChris @9thRW

@aeroscouting Dragon 21 leaving Fairford a fair few hours before you caught it on the radio.

Here is "DRAGON21" coordinating with Oakland Center T/SU on a holding pattern at FL430 before landing back at Beale. "PINION92" is also holding at the same position, but 20,000 feet higher.

I was listening for this U-2 returning to Beale AFB from England on Oakland Center T/SU, 296.700, and guess what? ... I found two U-2s operating... 😎 "PINION92" (training U-2, not visible) requested to hold above "DRAGON21" (returning U-2, visible) at FL600. Listen here 👇
