Our Key Stage 2 footballers were a credit to the school at the TCSSA five-a-side tournament on Tuesday! They were excellent role models and played brilliantly. Well done!

Individually we are one drop, together we are an ocean. Working in collaboration with shared goals and values. Change happens in partnership. Inspiring and uplifting day, people and our communities at the heart of all we do. @LWinSalford @TammyYoung111 @GMMH_NHS #WMHD2023

Large scale system change is far more likely to happen if we connect up existing networks, campaigns, communities, activists and social movements around common goals than if we try to spread change from the centre/top of the system. Those connections typically don't happen on their own. They need leaders who enable collaboration across systems. That's why convening networks is one of most powerful leadership actions for enabling big system change. Inspiration & graphic from medium.com/fito-network/t… Via @juneholley

Trafford Co-occurring conditions away day. A shared vision and commitment to shape what support/treatment/language and pathways are needed for ind with co-occurring mental health & substance misuse issues. People over processes, change happens in collaboration @GMMH_NHS

Too often, data gets presented in the NHS in a way that is dull or overwhelming & it's not impactful. Here's a brilliant @nancyduarte article on how to combine data with storytelling & to use storytelling skills to do a powerful "slow reveal" of the data: sloanreview.mit.edu/article/the-si…

Systems that keep, commissioning, design and delivery of Addictions and MH services separate will struggle to meet the needs of ind with Co-occurring conditions. Getting more radical about change, people/human stories over processes. Change happens in partnership @AndyBurnhamGM

@NHS_APA⁩ Stigma is harmful and marginalising. If we are serious about promoting recovery, we have to get serious in challenging stigma. Social changes requires a movement and we all have a role to play. See the person, hear their story, never lose sight of the human

12 years ago today I did the hardest thing a mother ever had to do...I gently cuddled my son and watched as his heart stopped beating whilst mine carried on 💔 I miss my boy every second of every day and not a day goes by when I dont wonder what if, what could have been. Scott xx
