my little brother passed away today. he was a strong kid. 20 years old and I loved him a lot. he was addicted to opioids but he was recovering and we thought everything was okay. I don’t need any sympathy I just need to say it so people know why I’m not around.

Also, if your patient with diabetes has a large dose of scheduled insulin due and their FSBS is normal, do not hold it because "it just feels like a lot to give them". The reason their blood sugar is within normal range is BECAUSE they're routinely receiving the dose they need.
